Under Construction: Proceed With Caution! Buckets That Bubble & More...

So, after a res change, Applicious ( DWC ) started to feed again. I believe I used bad water, maybe too acidic, not too sure. But normally when it's a problem I can't address, a res change fixes it for me. I believe I attached the chart I use in my media if not, I can always reattach. It's the DWC bible to be honest for any problem in your res.

***Note*** I NEVER run in the 90's temp wise, I had the AC off as I just cleaned the filter and it gets hot fast.

I am conducting a small little experiment. In this grow, I don't care about what grows above the soil. I am studying what happens below the soil. I want to see how roots grow in a potted plant and what they do when they fill the container completely. In doing so, I just cut the top off a two liter bottle of soda. I know the roots won't do well with light so at some point I will cover the bottle with something dark that I can slip of with ease. I have grown countless amounts of plants over the years so I am just trying to learn the why something happens since I already know how they happen. I just want a better understanding of the plant. I can easily do it in a hydroponic grow but that's very different then how a container gets full with roots. Anyways, her she is. You can sort of see the side that was facing the light most.

***Note*** I added some hydroton clay pebbles at the very bottom to help aide with drainage.

Moved a few plants out the closet and fired up another tent. This is a 3ft x 3 ft tent being lit with a Mars Hydro TSW-2000. I don't have exact list of what's in there but I will get that up here shortly. I do know I have Sacred Lotus and I believe Crown Jewel in there. All plants are in 5 gallon plastic pots being fed with GH's Flora series. Most plants are 2-4 weeks old and have a ways to go before flower. Ill start training these once they fill in their pots a bit. I like to strip the biggest fan leaves after a few weeks to open up everything underneath to get light. I top after the 5th node but remove the very first node at the bottom. Each stem coming from the internodes also gets topped early.

Opened up the closet a bit today. While they aren't ready for flower yet, I want to start getting them where they need to finally go. Training to begin once they fill in some. I do have bender clips that I use also. Pretty easy to use and an easy way to train a plant. I also do some bending when needed but rarely need to. I am going to take a pretty big clone to get a 4th hydroponic plant going so I flower them out in RDWC to make watering and feeding easier for me. I'll get a list up of what's in here and where they are and will start taking individual plant pictures. From this moment I will start journaling some of the more interesting stuff I have in veg as they follow through to sexing and flowering. There's quite a few regs and fems going so hopefully we can find some males as well. I plan on to start reversing and doing pollinations on some of the mothers I have now and the ones I will eventually find. Stay tuned!

Other tent is looking bare....though once the solos grow in that'll change things fast. I have one auto in there that will be going into another area but all the solo cups will be headed to 1 gallon plastic pots. This grow, I am not going to top any of the plant and let them do their thing and finish in said pot. I am running a HLG V2 100 in 4000K so this tent is strictly for veg. Once ready for flower, they'll go into my 2ft x 4 ft tent to get sexed and finish to flower.
