You asked me this at a good time, I can take pictures for future reference.

I harvest my seeds within 48 hours of taking down the plant, Its important to separate the seeds from any organic material and get them dried out. I don't use the flower from seeded plants for anything so I break down the flowers into small pieces and have my fans on high so I can start working out the seeds after only 24 hours.

After I work the seeds out I separate them from the larger plant pieces

P2180284.JPG
I then separate the viable seeds from everything else

P2180288.JPG
I hang them to finish drying in a mesh bag for 2 weeks before storing in the fridge

I'll take that one, and that one... ;)

BBC bag looks empty. Not harvested yet?

I looked closer at all the SOG seeds and 80-90% are immature. I just didn't sort them much because they were worthless anyway. That's why I dropped 20 seeds hoping to get a few. Next I just do a mass germination of the rest of them, no sense hanging on to them if none pop. Out of the ~100 left, there are maybe 10 that look like I would buy them. That said, why bother being picky if I am germinating them all.

Then I'll try the other bagseeds. I have five Bruce Banner and one Royal Mystery that look primo - dark stripes etc. I still am not growing them out, but they look much more promising for this purpose.

Cleaning out the seed-vault to make room LOL

Only pruning I have done so far is at the lowest shoot on the Blue Eyes. What I am going to try is instead of pruning the sprouts off of lower shoots and keeping the tops, I am going to top each shoot that is big enough, and go for a fat single-cola plant. If it works well on them I might do everyone like that from now on. Just to have space for more plants.

And here is some individual shots. I forgot to pull the Biscuits for pics.

Nice job on the shrubs bro. Hey whats the parents of your last pic that citrol sledgehammer? Thx

Thank you sir - I put seeds in dirt - some lived :)

That is Tangie x 9lb Hammer from @Phylex at Synergy Genetics. Now that I know they are all keepers I have some light pruning and/or tucking to do.
Damm.. I bet thatll be sum dam good terpy smoke! Never have tried tangie or a cross with it, but that 9lb is quite a tasty and potent cross. Have grown 9lb a time 2 and was allways sum 🔥.. It looks like that citrol 🔨 is definitely taking after the 9lb in appearance and structure with them fat leaves and tight node spacing.. Definitely shud take sum clones off that one just my suggestion.
What did synergy say the flowering time was for that one?
The thing that scared me off from growing tangie was the long flower period if i member correctly? Way to long for my liking if its the strain i think im thinking of.. But with orange from tangie and the grape from the 🔨 that shud be sum lip smacking herb! 🔥 🔥. Thank u for ur info and pics bro!👊✌

Not cloning. I grow for me, for smoke, and for fun. I have so many seeds to run I don't have space for clones.

These were just one seed each out of a pack of regs, randomly looking to get a few girls to grow. Once I get my rotation dialed in and run the testers I need to I'll start running these seeds seriously.

Oh, flower time was 9-10 weeks. so hopefully the 9lb cut that down some.

Several of the little shrubs look like they have a nice flat canopy with no stretch under the top two fan leaves.

A few, especially the HAOG Skunk, have stretchy shoots outpacing the fan leaves.

Other than getting a nice fat top-cola I really have no plan.

Next watering I don't need to feed or anything, so I will get really high until the karma hits me and prune each one wherever the bonsai gods take me,🌴🌳🌲🌵 - I hate taking fan leaves unnecessarily, so I want to give them a few more days to stretch and get some more personality.

Then a few days later up-pot them to final homes. The Blackwater Mystery is supposed to be a real short flower (56 days) and the others are a random mix and unknowns. So I should have some "earlies" to keep me from getting impatient about the "lates"

The verdict is in! I can keep my 100 shitty seeds to play with for future curiosities.
24hr soak, then 24 in a paper towel - 20% viable.

I picked the 4 on the left, but some others looked like they cracked and would grow. I added a little Big Bloom, Aminos, and FF Rhize-Up to the water I soaked the cubes with. A take-out tray is perfect! I knew I saved them for a reason :)

I almost culled the tiny hashplant. I gently pulled up on the stem to see if it was damped off and there was a one inch curl of stem before I saw any roots, then it gave a little resistance. I packed dirt back around it and watered it back in.

@J.James, will it be obvious when those rooter cubes need water?

I soaked them, then put them in the tray.
got the seeds situated, covered them with 'cube-dust',
watered that in resoaking the cubes, then drained the tub, no puddles.

it's a flat bottom though - so surface tension probably kept a good bit of water in them.

These got soaked for the first time today. Top fed with a tsp of Jump Start. The GMO Cake (left) looks happier now because she looked sadder before lights out and I gave her an early dose of water. I am guessing her roots are way more involved than you would expect looking at the top.

I snipped the seed-leaves and shoots from each, 3 are going to get flipped after I get the flower tent pruned up. DCP is still too small, and I think I might top the GMO Cake for 4 tops as soon as she has the shoots (maybe 3-4 days). I'll flip her after.

These are so damn pretty I don't want to cut anything. Still might not, but I'm seeing nice flower sites so I don't want to wait too long to get them some light. They get watered tomorrow, so that'll be decision day. Might be throwing away lots of clones if anyone wants to come get them :)

Day 12-12/12 ;)
Here is my little work station, HAOG as an example of how I pruned. IMG_5843.JPG
All plants lost the top 4 palm fronds that were shading everything. The next leaf up will be next to go if needed. Lower fans that could be tucked below the shoots were kept. A few lost a node of sprouts near the soil just because there was no stretch.

Should look like shrubbery again in a few days.

I'm looking at the pic, and this tent is about to get less crowded. The GMO Cake fem is the only one I grew "on purpose", so she is getting more veg and will end up in a 5-gallon. I am still gonna keep her short, but she'll have more than one top.

The others - as with all my single-reg drops was basically because all the breeders apparently grow good plants. The first run was all produced by people who were/are active members on here. I didn't want to play favorites - have no clue who breeds better what. Sooooo the 4 on the right are all more of that plan from 10 packs of seeds I got in the auction. The DCP might get flipped anyway and just be a midget. I'll at least get to try it if it's a girl.

This tent may get empty depending on when the Backwoods Breeding girls show up :)

The 'sink-or-swim' hashplants are still alive. One treading water, the other is good now.
