Gnats.

I have tried something that has produced a definite reduction in the amount I am seeing - and this is when they should be worst (seasonally).

I read about h2o2 being good for killing the larvae. It acts like an acid to them, but then breaks down into extra o2.

I tried with one plant for a week and saw no ill effects, I am now adding about a tablespoon of peroxide per gallon of water every watering.

Might be purely anecdotal, but all my plants are in flower, it's summer, and there were a lot more a month ago.

I have tried all that. Literally ALL that and anything else. From nematodes to neem seed meal and oil, to the MicrobeLift stuff that kills mosquitos in ponds, Spinosad, etc. Even tried different soils.

if anyone else was having issues and game to try it I'd like to get a second opinion.

Why I am liking this is that h2o2 is simply h2o with an extra 'o'. It is completely inert as far as having an effect on plant taste because of any weird shit they are exposed to. I add it before I pH the water so that should remove any caustic effect it might have on its own. And it's cheap!

Why I like this propagator: the side vents. If you have a regular big plastic dome, try rednecking some into the sides.
IMG_8404.JPG
Anyway, with the dome on top it keeps the rH at a higher level, but allows airflow right at cup level. It has the same upper vents as the others.
The Sacred Lotus settled down, moderate to tall stretch on them, but they didn't go crazy and settled down to make leaves.
I think maybe two of the propped ones actually need it.

Well - what do you do when you are woken at 3am to be informed that your daughter is going into labor with your next grandkid?
You're up anyway so you pot plants :ROFLMAO:

Down to 11 on the Sacred Lotus by @J.James . The runt damped off. Everything else had roots coming out of the cup
The white cup is my special child with the extra chromosome :sneaky: Looks like it'll keep up the trifecta.

I'm done with the older HC. There are more to follow so this one's getting the axe today. I need the room more than I need a few more trich's.
It has scattered ambers on the chunky parts now, and very little clear.
I gave her a little more water this morning to soak up while I get things set up.
With my low rH here I have found that harvesting wet helps it dry better than letting it dry in the pot first.

Pretty pics later :)

I think doing the pruning like I do where there is little to no larf it messes up the %. I've been averaging about 23% of the wet weight on plants I didn't pay as much attention to, and about 25% on ones like this. Dense, and very little stem. The fat stalks are hollow and don't really weigh much.

Also, trim time was maybe an hour tops.

Just removing one 5gal plant made a big difference. This is the standard closet with a tent beside it.

I moved the G13 Genius in here, and she DOMINATES! Might have to raise the lights a bit.
IMG_8461.JPG
And I moved it so I could have all Hippie Crippler in here. The runt and the 4 clones.
IMG_8463.JPG
And I love the huge propagator. Plenty of room.
IMG_8457.JPG
These don't seem to mind the transplant, but it was a hassle. Not much roots yet but they were already creeping out the bottom of the cups.
Next time I am going with this size cups full of happy frog to start with, but with just a shot-glass size hole filled with seed-soil in the middle.
