I check my plants several times a day out of boredom. Just burn one and watch them grow.
Not needing to pull out the scissors, spray bottle, watering can, etc. every time is a learned trait. It is NOT natural LOL
I'm usually that way, too, but this it the first contest of this type I've entered, and I somehow flipped back into new grower mode. I'm just going to let them dry out for an extra day and let them do their thing.

Don’t be embarrassed…everyone makes mistakes and sometimes competitions cause you to be a helicopter grower which can cause even more. I definitely over watered mine, I could tell as soon as I saw the color of the perlite this morning so I need to let mine dry out more, stop thinking about them as contest plants, and just do what I always do.
I will get over my inadequacies, it is not like it is a size issue (or wait, is it?). Just pisses me off that I had some problems in coco last run and I thought I would take a KISS methode here and use soil, how can you fuck it up? Well, I can show you can. I probably should test the pH of some run off of the media to see what the problem might be. Or just mix it in with the garden soil and be done with it. I treated it like the coco I had put seeds in and they are all doing well.

If you went from coco to soil then you could be over watering just because you've been used to watering more often with coco.

You mean by treated like the coco as in feed wise and water frequency. Soli shouldn't be getting any food for awhile and should take longer in between waterings. You need more of a wet dry cycle as with coco you always want it moist. Even for outdoor veggies in potting mix I'll mix in extra perlite to keep em from choking up.( wet perlite before using it) keeps dust from getting in your lungs. More perlite = more frequent watering but if your doing hydro this can be ok. I'm running 3g pots of only coco and they get it twice a day and are still too dry for my liking come morning. I used to not mind hand watering the personals but now I'm over it. Floraflex is round the corner.

Plants sprayed with spinosad and moved under the Amare Indoor Sun Bar 3 @ 20% power or 10k lumens at plant level on an 18/6 cycle. Spinosad was mixed at a rate of 2 oz per gallon and used as a foliar and root drench. Sticky traps deployed to catch any other pests that might wanna check out my grow.

This is the Amare Indoor Sun Bar 6 that I had custom built by victor last year. I am using 1/2 of it in a 2 x 4 Gorilla grow tent1618686571182.png 1618687670708.png

Thanks bro! @LubdaNugs is deffinately a front runner, hopefully I can keep up. Its the next 2 months that matter. @J.James is no joke either. Its theses types of growers that keep my head in the game.View attachment 88867
There are a bunch of great growers in here I don’t think there’s a front runner. I do think we will see the best that these seeds have to offer, I just wish we could all get together to smoke the results.

Sorry, me bad. I meant I use the same nutrient mixture. I judged the dampness by the weight of the container, also the plastic cups are clear so I can see how dry it is. The 'soil' was more course than regular soil. It was suppose to be a Promix type of material. I have use Promix and another brand that is suppose to be thought of a hydro type of media. I do have ordinary potted plants in the house in soil, I water them less frequently. That was part of the reasoning to try soil, I wanted to try it so I could water it and then go away for a few days. I really wanted to try some topsoil we have in the area. It is really nice stuff (mind the weeds) but it was all frozen from what I was told.
