Been a learning curve for sure with all the new lighting technology.I been running my lights in the starter tent no different than I usually do, I have always used the only light meter I have, the plants themselves, last run of seedlings I had 4 new starts raised on a box 6in off the floor they stalled the leaves sagged downwards, I put them on the floor and they exploded I am still learning the ways of LED's used to T5s when the leaves grew around the bulbs lol
Thanks bro! Could have waited a bit longer but I wanted to get it done.Nice fucking roots man!
I would sprinkle diatomaceous earth in the areas that they are entering into the tent. DE will kill both crickets and stink bugs.I don't really have anything to report except I popped 2 more seeds again. When my others got ate on by a pest of some sort and killed off several of my autos and 2/4 of the comp beans as well. The 2 that survived were in freshly watered coco when they got their leaves munched on. With no leaves to use up the water and cool temps we are having.... well thats bad news.
I've nursed those 2 back somewhat but are wayyyyy behind. So I got 2 more seeds going. I'm def not gonna make the cut off date. But these will get flowered out and I'm gonna take clones first before I flower them.
I've also found several crickets and stink bugs crawling around in the tent. Both of them can cause serious damage to young seedlings. Ive put out sticky traps and caught several
I had mice sneaking in the doggie door, they were hell on a bunch of starts, even dug out the seeds on a few solo cups, might set a mouse trap just in caseI don't really have anything to report except I popped 2 more seeds again. I decided to put one of the comp plants in the veg tent with the larger led just to see how she reacts, last light sensitive plants I had in it I had to dim it a little, they stopped growing vertically for several days until I did.. Still learning LEDsBeen a learning curve for sure with all the new lighting technology.
I can go back to 1975 with 4 single 8' grolux t12s for my first indoor pot grow. Had those screwed to a half sheet of plywood covered with foil.
I'd have to move the lights every couple days because they did better with those t12s right on em.
I've started all of my outdoor plants in the past under t8s and then t5s now to QBs.
Lighting has come a long ways.
DE is awesome, keep it dry and don't breath it.I would sprinkle diatomaceous earth in the areas that they are entering into the tent. DE will kill both crickets and stink bugs.
Just a few days ago I cranked my 240w to 100%. The whole tent seems to be loving it.I decided to put one of the comp plants in the veg tent with the larger led just to see how she reacts, last light sensitive plants I had in it I had to dim it a little, they stopped growing vertically for several days until I did.. Not yet, but I feel like they are ready to flip soon. They are all enjoying the soil and nutrients. They are really popping nicely after each watering, I’m psyched to see what they hold. Are you seeing any offset nodes yet?
Could this be the Miricale Alien Cookies???
Such happy girls, beautiful.I'm thinking I may only keep 2 of these, not sure which ones yet. Kinda leaning to keep the untopped one.
Still have 3 days before I flip em, so probably have 10 more days to decide before my regs start showing sex
They're gonna be way different by then. I fucking hate culling perfectly good plants.

Not gonna be any offset nodes yet, not at 3 1/2 weeks, that’ll happen about weeks 6-7 ime.Are you seeing any offset nodes yet?
Thanks bro! @LubdaNugs is deffinately a front runner, hopefully I can keep up. Its the next 2 months that matter. @J.James is no joke either. Its theses types of growers that keep my head in the game.I understand the comp goal. I'm just motivating myself to do my best work.
I haven't been in the zone for over a year with the covid mess.
I've been wanting a comp like this for a long time, I can see others including some of the you tube players are having fun all growing the same strain. It's all about improving my grow and I feel a comp with everyone growing the same strain is more useful to the growers playing than a comp with everyone growing different strains.
Hi @LubdaNugs Beautiful plants, I knew you were going to be a tough one to beat.
@Ohio.george Is crushing it.
Luckily my goal is only to beat @J.James this round. Would love to see how his plants are doing.
Don’t be embarrassed…everyone makes mistakes and sometimes competitions cause you to be a helicopter grower which can cause even more. I definitely over watered mine, I could tell as soon as I saw the color of the perlite this morning so I need to let mine dry out more, stop thinking about them as contest plants, and just do what I always do.I put the other two in coco. The one will make it, mommy bear is iffy, the little one I am rooting for it but I won't be putting any money on it. I am almost embarrassed at my showing, about all I can say. Do not know what was with that grow media, I have popped about 20 other varieties of seeds in coco and all took off. I am going to dump that stuff on the garden. The two are now in my veg tent, the little one I will keep where it is, I have a few other plants with it that I have to decide what to do with.
I check my plants several times a day out of boredom. Just burn one and watch them grow.Don’t be embarrassed…everyone makes mistakes and sometimes competitions cause you to be a helicopter grower which can cause even more.
