My Perpetual Madness: Sad Does Multi Strains Under TSL-2000's & More

Give Schwaggys thread a read. Goes very in depth on selections, chucking, harvesting pollen etc.
Full of great info.
I'd start by finding your mom. Something you know is dank and worth messing with.
Awesome. There's endless info on it but I want first hand experience. I like I can ask questions too if I need. I just want the " I created this feeling" lol.

No problemo, just wasn't sure if you were aware that he's one of the resident grow wizards here, πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜
I am still learning who's advice to take like gospel and others with a grain of salt. I always prefer Ive done it before instead of I have heard before. Reading my comment does make it seem like I was being a little shit. Maybe I should edit that lol

That's the great thing about this place no one gives bad advice really everyone is loaded with experience and we don't mess with any bro science/BS/RIU type shit🀣🀣🀣, but if you want some college level explanations of things Schwaggy is the man, very generous dude actually offered to help get me going down the proper path with 2 projects I've been wanting to cook up for years

On another note, I ordered a Water Farm last week. Just one setup. I have never grown in anything outside of soil. So, my next run that I am planning to start mid Feb. I'll be firing that up and running it in the mix. I am pretty sure I am going to kill it but hey.....I am sure everyone here can get me on the right path.
Waterfarms are great, there's a few tricks to make them perform a bit better you can google the "scottyballz waterfarm" thread I think over at RIU. I had best results drilling some additional drainage holes in the top portion and adding the airstones to the reservoir. With 2 gallons in the tank you'll want to be on top of the water changes and the ph will swing a bit more. You can always lift the square top portion out and move it to a larger DWC reservoir if needed.

MY goal is to use just this system for the entire grow. Since it's new to me, I don't want to invest a lot since I may not even like it and prefer soil. Who knows. I try to keep it as basic and simple as possible in the garden so I am not sure if DWC will even be for me. I will be journaling it when I start, so I am more then confident that I'll be in good hands.

Hey Bill Gates gave his hardest jobs to his laziest workers because they will find the easiest way to do it. Fuck RIU man lol.....I'll be reading it over and taking notes as I go along. I am sure I'll be asking a question or 200.

Ew I can't believe you use Mars. Ahaha jk
Beautiful garden. I read a lot like you before I took the actual plunge.
Riu still is full of bountiful knowledge just have to know where to look.
Lol I know they aren't the best light on the market but I cant complain on the results I am getting. I bought the TS-1000 at first when I needed a light better then my Morsen 1000w blurple LED and other lights who's brands I cant even pronounce. That light performed a million times better then my previous grow. So I saved up and bought my first TSL-2000.

Easy system to run for sure is hydroreds diy f&d totes, another thread with some gold in it lol, I switched from dwc to the f&d and never looked backπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ the version I'm using is shit from wal Mart and a harbor freight pump, only thing special for them is the f&d fitting kit about 8 bucks on amazon
I am hoping it catches on to me. So were see when I get up and running. Plenty of time to take notes and such to be prepared for the grow coming up.

Snapped a few pics today while cleaning up some plants and my spaces. I try to keep them as neat as possible. Maintaining over 20 plants is fun lol. Anyways the first picture is the Dr Seedsman 30:1 Cbd. Pics not the greatest. I had taken the pics with my tablet.dr301.jpgdrs301cu.jpg

Buds everywhere in this pic.....they are filling in nicely and really starting to swell. Coming along nicely. Pulling nice colors off the Girl Scout Cookies. Ill provide the bud porn shots later since my tablet is junk with pics.

Durban Poison still has a ways to go even though she is 7 weeks in. She is picking up weight faster then any plant right now. Still TONS of white pistols. dp127.jpg

Flowering Solo cups coming along fine. Sure are a PITA to keep care for. Just need tons of attention. I have 4 total going right now of the Solo cups in flower.solocup3.jpg

The I created it part, just the way I want it is what made me want to mess with chucking. Lol.

You sure got that right broski. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
Schwaggy has posted all the details, including genetic trait selection and so on.
Literally a how to breed tutorial with pics and a professor to break it down if you ask nice. 😁😁😁
It's his techniques for the most part that I've come to follow with great results.

Guys a genius. Lol. For reals.

If I remember correctly @gwheels has run a number of those, he can tell you some good stuff, info, etc on them.

I could give ya a short list. πŸ˜‰
Lots of good growers on here to learn from for sure. Lots of good tutorials to follow as well.
If I haven't done it, I'm likely not gonna chime in on a convo. Lol.
Except maybe to refer you to someone that has done it. Lol.
That's how I am. I'll help someone if I have done it myself...not what I heard from someone.

Waterfarms work....drill extra holes in that basket (you will find it online) and if you have a spare pump one in the rez makes it faster.
:)

I like bubble buckets better because they are bigger...so fewer res fixes and changes.

But i grew a big GG4 in it...worked like a champ. without the extra stone.
I only grabbed it because it was everything I needed without getting this part or that part. I think I have air stones laying around. If not, they aren't that costly. I am sure there's going to come a time in the next couple weeks where I will be asking though lol.

Just remember....a stone to a few....a pump....5 gallon bucket and a basket lid = bubble bucket.

Any bucket....tote...all of them work.

The 2 port pumps running stones in a 8 gallon tote is beauty!

this is the one I had purchased. I found the cheaper one without the nutes after ordering. No big deal though/
