I am struggling with them. Runaways are my biggest issue. Seems like they always happen during the dark period. Not that big of a deal in my setup but a pain in the ass none the less. I check every night before lights out to make sure it is not dripping to fast but sometimes it happens anyway. I am thinking i am not doing something right maybe treating it more like a controlled drip irrigation.I'm always AWOL man, lol. No just busy af, and ya blumats are still going. Are you getting any build up in the feed tube? If that's not the case maybe shorten the distance between where it drips and the carrot. I did that at one point and it was a game changer on controlling runways.I am struggling with them. Runaways are my biggest issue. Seems like they always happen during the dark period. No buildup Mac. I will make things a little easier to access on my next run. Okay i got what could be a dumb question to ask. Once the carrot signals that it needs to irrigate does it just keep dripping continually or is it intermittent on the irrigations. The reason i ask is it seems like if i get it down to a slow drip it just stays like that and holds about the right amount of moisture in the pots. I have been cleaning my reservoir every 7 days and flushing the lines. At that point i am starting all over and having a few fun offs while resetting. Are you letting air into the lines when you clean the res?No buildup Mac. I will make things a little easier to access on my next run. Okay i got what could be a dumb question to ask. Wow what a beautiful structure. Looking forward to seeing this flowered out. Nice manView attachment 28886
Ready for another run Mac. (Starchild)
I must be doing something wrong because i feel i could accomplish the same thing with a valve and dripper on each plant. Once you get the drip timing right it seems to hold the right amount of moisture in the media. Are you letting air into the lines when you clean the res?
Do you close the valve at the res when you change it out? Just want to double check because that was an issue for me at one point too.I must be doing something wrong because i feel i could accomplish the same thing with a valve and dripper on each plant. Yes.Do you close the valve at the res when you change it out?
Hell ya it would, you could even ditch the gravity fed thing for a pump and put your res wherever you want.So Mac would it be possible to obtain the same results with a manual drip with a valve for each plant.?
Sorry for the lack of updates mac. I just culled 1 male each of CNC and DDB. The females are chugging right along. They're bathing in 50% CMH, 50% HPS. I should be able to get a good pic some time this weekend.@spyralout how are your DDB's doing buddy?
After what I saw from those beans, I am eager to see what comes out of flower for ya man.Sorry for the lack of updates mac. I just culled 1 male each of CNC and DDB. The females are chugging right along. They're bathing in 50% CMH, 50% HPS. I should be able to get a good pic some time this weekend.
If you set your dippers up and you come back a few hours later, it is very highly likely they won't be dropping.I am struggling with them. Runaways are my biggest issue. Lol, we're just trying to figure out Capts runaway issue that he gets after res changeSo what is the question?
