Yea I never had it either. That was the very first thing I made sure in my rooms....to never depend on something running to keep my temps where they are at. But to my understanding....PM is not something that happens overnight. At least what I have learned. Last I knew PM starts on the inside of the bud and works it way out. So there's a good chance the spores were there and might be other places too because spores are like pollen....it dont take much to move them miles. Just keep a real close eye on your other buds too.
Yo u better hope u never get em either. At least bud rot is easier to deal w . Everyone I know has it

The only thing that will fuck me is a power outage...I think I have like 20 fans going alone between all the areas.
Hope u never lose it . And trust me there are things that can fuck u that are coming round the bend ,be ready lmao. Seriously though. Idk I am scared to even come inside after being in the yard . So that's me. Just being careful

Fuck yeah, anymore I will take a shower before I go in my grow room if I have been outside. And don't wear the same shoes either.

For sure. From what I understand pm and bud rot is different? Could be wrong about that. But I have had powdery mildew once before and it happened the exact same way. My RH is usually in a good range but it shot up to 99% one night. Sprayed it with peroxide and got my humidity back in check and never seen it again. I'm hoping I have the same luck with this. It's been just over a day or so and no signs of it yet... Fingers crossed
Definitely different animals..............PM you can fight a little, bud rot's worse. Never had it indoors, but outside if it shows up I just cut the plant right then, because it will get worse. I have lucked out snipping a branch or two but I have also lost a few. Shit happens real quick.

I find PM will nail you inside way before bud rot would ever set in. Outside though its the September battle.

PM then budrot and now (i mean recently) I get why quick finishers are what you want outside. But that Malwai X Panama Red...with its weird whispy buds went easy into mid November when it was ready. Was it worth it...

Oh yeah it was.

Get a small generator. When power goes out here I String cords through the house and provide just enough power for the fridge, the plants, and cable/internet.
I did this for a couple of days, changed the lights to single household led bulbs, kept the fans, cloner and mom shelf running. Cloner likes it the least.
But.........I wire the generator into the main panel.......fuck all those cords, lol. To run the gen I have to shut off a sub panel which happens to have 40 amps that I use to grow. It's never fun, lol.

Yea looking now...The fungus that sparks gray mold or bud rot is called Botrytis cinerea....while the fungus known as Powdery mildew is a fungal disease that affects a wide range of plants. Powdery mildew diseases are caused by many different species of fungi in the order Erysiphales, with Podosphaera xanthii (a.k.a. Sphaerotheca fuliginea) being the most commonly reported cause.[1] Erysiphe cichoracearum was formerly reported to be the primary causal organism throughout most of the world.[1][2] Powdery mildew is one of the easier plant diseases to identify, as its symptoms are quite distinctive .
