Out of 13 seeds, 3 of which were feminized, I ended up with only 5 girls! Even the Bridezilla which was a fem seed turned out to be male.

Both Pioneer Kush, Boys. Both cookie Crunch, Boys. Both Rock Island Rockets, Boys.

I’m debating whether or not to drop more seeds now or wait till there is about five weeks left of flowering time for the big tent. I’ll probably wait since the short tent won’t handle anything larger than one gallons

I’ll take it with a grain of salt. I got the seed from another member here. Might have been any random seed the guy had. I think I paid him $10 for it.

The short tent got flipped 4 days ago. I need to weed out the males. See what I did there? They’re getting pretty tall. If worse comes to worse I can throw a few of the taller girls (if I get any more) in the Big tent.

This beautiful specimen is a More Cowbell from Bodhi. I got the seeds from @Heathenraider. If you’re out there brother and you think this one is a keeper, I can take a cut for you. I do have two females out of two More Cowbell seeds popped. I think this is the nicer one.

Check out this Rock Island Rocket @J.James. It went triploid. Both of the RIR are just beautiful plants.

A few days ago, I decided it wasn’t worth having two tents running for five smallish plants, so the two one gallons got moved from the short tent to the big tent.

I’m at about two weeks of 12:12. The Platinum Silk is a stretchy one! All the others seem to have about the same stretch.

I would say this is my healthiest grow to date. This grow is all about “less is more”.

I’m growing way less plants at once than ever before. I’ve done no training whatsoever. I have removed a couple of yellow leaves from the bottoms, that’s it. I’m also using way less nutrients than I have in the past. I’m really liking how it’s turning out. Hopefully I can keep them as healthy as can be until harvest. In my past grows, something always seemed to happen near the end where the plants just weren’t happy about something.

I’ve lost track of how many weeks now since dry seed - maybe eight? I think this is day one of the third week of 12:12.

Everything is still progressing well. No hiccups to speak of - knock on wood!

I really like More Cowbell 2. It is currently the frostiest. But the Oil Spill wins in the smell department. It has one of those smells where you just can’t stop smelling your fingers after a rub.

The fucking Platinum Silk won’t stop stretching. My light is as high as it goes, and the top is only about eight inches below the light. I’m starting to think I need to supercrop it.

Here’s everything out of the tent.



Speaking of tents, 5 plants is kind of crowded in a 2x4, so I’m considering replacing my tall 2x4 with a 3x5. Yes there is one available from a Canadian on-line retailer. Made by Secret Jardin. $350. Hmmmm……

The fucking Platinum Silk won’t stop stretching. My light is as high as it goes, and the top is only about eight inches below the light. I’m starting to think I need to supercrop it.

Have you tried just pinching the stems without bending them? I heard about it and am trying it, but it's just squeezing untill you hear/feel it crush, but just barely. Enough to do damage but not enough to make it bendy. I can verify that it'll knuckle up just the same as a super-crop, so it had to so something. On a real stretchy one I would do every node as it gets big enough. but give it enough time to heal in between.

a pair of linesmans plires does a really good job of makeing a plant knuckel up between nodes.i have tryed needle nose with rubber tubing stuck on them to crush stems , did'nt work as well as the, square nose linesmans, with no paddin, it would a good idea not to crush , a limb that u plan to use as a clone,it could cause slow rooting due to thicker bark , alot to think about for my old skull.

I have some of those Craftsman "robo-grip" slip-joint plyers that only compress a little. As soon as they make contact the jaws set, then only tighten a little more from there. AND they came with plastic guards I've never has a use for sounds like a plan!

I just don't get too many that become unmanageable since I flip them at about a foot tall. They cannstretch three times the original height and I still have three feed of head-room.
