I’ve been on there recently and realized there’s a dewd from a certain light company that just sits and looks for thread of anything that has to do with other leds(except hgl most likely because he has no dog in that fight) and shits on them for being inefficient or shitty spectrum or par because of his magical sphere tests that obviously translate directly into the real world in practice.
Hahaha, who's that? I got banned there, so can't check stuff out anymore.

I think I'm going to hop on the MasterBlend wagon. It's a toin coss between Jack's and MasterBlend for me.
I don’t know what media you’re in or how salty you’re down to get, but I’ve been on v+b for a bit and it’s way easy. I use it on its own more or less the same for everything all the way through veg and bloom but I guess that have additives.

Another week in the bag.

Today is day 1 of week 7.

Rainbow Driver #2 is continuing to stack, and she is plumping up nicely. Rainbow Driver #1 is not as chunky, but right now she has the frost factor in her favor.

RD#1

Bit of leaf curl on the upper parts. I assume it's light causing this, the colas closest to the boards are the ones with curl. I'm not going to do anything at this point, I'll just let it ride. Going forward, I will take measures to keep the light distance more appropriate for this particular pheno.

Neither girl is particularly stinky. I did a sugar leaf rub to get an idea what they bring to the table. Both express a fruity sweetness with a fuel/burnt rubber component. #1 is more fruity, #2 is more fuel/burnt rubber.

Great pics man! DSLR?

I love the jungleyness in the first photo. What size of tent do you have?

Little update on the veg tent.

I topped the 8 Black Widow Seed plants over the weekend. They're starting to bush out, which will give me some nice clone material.

The plan right now is to clone all 8 and throw them into the flower tent on 10/14. I'll flower them all out to make seed stock for future pheno hunting. Probably throw a clone of each Rainbow Driver in too, pollinate them as well.

These babies are calcium hogs, I had to up my game. Haven't had a plant yet that wanted as much calcium as some of these BW. It's the more sativa dominant phenos that really crave Ca.

I've had to really push the Ca, too. Looking good man. I can't wait to see the clone run.

Week 8, day 1.

The girls are trucking along. RD#1 has been surprising me, she's packed a substantial amount of weight recently. I had estimated #2 would yield roughly double, but I don't think that will be the case anymore.

Group shot. RD #1 left, #2 right

RD #1. You can see a bit of bleaching on the top of the flower here. They stretched a bit more than I was expecting/prepared for.

Got a bit of color creeping into the calyx area. I'm loving the look of her.

In all honesty, as much as I'm liking the fact that #2 has the yeild, I'm liking #1 more overall; to me she looks nicer visually, she has a nicer smell, and she has better frost coverage. Neither one are frost monsters like some buds I see posted here, but I think they have respectable trich coverage.

That's all for this week. This one is coming to a close pretty soon. My expectation was 10 weeks, and I imagine it will be right around that mark.
