Here's a better picture from just now. The blue patch you see is bruising. I think I have been being a little too aggressive with the misting.well sure enough ,glasses on the pics gets better, pins for sure

I’m hoping it comes out as full as it looks. I tried a different method this time where you mix the spawn 1 to 1 with the CVG, then put a thin layer of spawn on top of that, and then case it with another 1/4” of CVG.

Nope, that is just straight up CVG. There’s another casing method I’ve been reading about where they adjust the pH of the coir casing layer to help prevent contamination from setting in.

Alkaline. I think she recommends a pH of 8.5.
