What did you do today?

K so today I tried to regenerate a Carbon filter. I bought a metal one thinking I would try regenerating once it’s full.
Put a hot air gun at the opening.
About 15min the stink was starting to be free.
I was doing it in a shop with a couple of fans that pump air outs side.
I had to discontinue my work. Fuuuuk my eyes were watering and fuuuk it was rank. Not much skunk but minty stank. I’m going to have to continue my efforts at home out doors on a wife at work kids at school day. good thing my neibours are 1/2mile away LOL
Looks like it’s going to work though.

I also purchased a bunch of bags of wood based carbon. May build a big filter out of the carbon and maybe a couple 5gal pails. Anyone see a diy carbon filter?

Computer bit the dust so I've been dealing with the repair shop and trying to get the pics and shit off the hard drive that is crashing. I'm on my late father's old box....just a fuckin dinosaur of a machine. Not 9600 baud but nice and jerky at times if there's too much media content on the page.....

And the old knee has decided to act up again......nice and swollen.....so that has me bummed cus I've hedged off surgery/etc for 3 decades now....(had it scoped in '88) and this is the first episode of swelling I've had in 20. Hopefully I can get it to go down and avoid the doc..... Pass the ludes please......I got too much on my plate to slow down that much for that long..... and staying off of it is nearly impossible. Ah...what fun this gettin old shit is....

but I'm still here for now...........so game won...... LOL.

Today...i got up at 2...thank you gut problems...

But i smoked a fat doob of pig whistle...and some strains really nail it...this one was great to take away gut pain but overkill in the over think,

Getting something done or puzzling it out it is great. I love smoking a sativa heavy to think....how will i make this veg room the best i can be......EUREKA...

Or you are stuck in your head for a long time...

I made an oz of kief hash this morning...

I made a new flood and drain worthy of the veg room..no more ghetto look for me. SHITS GOTTA MATCH

Oh yeah...kids...pull your fucking pants up....wear matching socks...WTF

ok i am retired...i found out you can do that all the time and people just whisper (hes retired) and let you get away with it !!! AWESOME!

Tomorrow I am building a dryer...or a strawberry grow room. Because i have the seeds and i really thought about it...if you could grow one thing what would you like all the time.
Tomatos and shit are cheap...a pound of strawberries in winter can hit 6 bucks..

LOL

So why? Because i gots to..

And i get lots of EUREKAS...an HPS works great...if you can get that ballast outside the grow area.

In a room not so much...i am now maxing out at 25 C. thanks to the massive light shift from yesterday

I am now running 1300 watts (veriac verifed) on 1 timer on a 20 amp gfi circuit. Covering about 40 square feet.

.I am wrecked...talking in celcius..
Curious, I feel like I liked this post when I originally read it...
Strawberries are fun and i believe realistic to grow along with mj if you are willing to go less than 12hr on the flower cycle. Believe me or now when I say you can ge more g/kw-hr with 10 or even 8 hrs of light but it is true. But back to strawberries june bearing have a subset of short day plants and there are also everbearing that could be done in a veg tent and day neutral that can be done in either veg or flower.

Eversweet and quinalt. If I didnt mix them up when pulling them last fall the quinalts are the ones that threw the clusters which makes some sense because they are june bearing and immediately started budding when put into 12/12. Also iirc the quinaults gave me a 2nd harvest in the fall, I was able to keep them a little warmer in the cold frame.

We do some strawberries outside here....but every time I try 'em in my dome the (strawberry) mites show up.
Quinalt....alpines.....and Chan-something we got last season @ Casa De Pot that really did well here outside.
I make a friend's Strawberry Habenero "Soul sauce" marinade with many of 'em. Fuckin kill.

Just took down the last tomato plant so gotta get on it and reboot. That plant went almost 2 years.

If I could only get my weed to do that.....yup.....it would be serious fun.

Casa de pot - took me sec....almost hit google looking for a new nursery.

Tomato plant survived your winter in an unheated greenhouse?

Both aphids and mites seem to love the sweet stuff, I am having to manually pollinate these and it would be nice if I could positively determine what is what. Probably gonna pick up a few more sets soon as they are available, get them cranking in the garage, thinking I'll try sweet corn this year, never done corn and seens like a challenge to get a decent harvest around here.

Yeah......the dome greenhouse is an amazing thing. I DO heat it when it gets >super cold<.....but like last night where I was too lazy to go out and build a fire.....it was 15F outside this AM and 45F in the dome. If I heat it I can keep it 55f or so down to 0F (a 40-50F degree spread)....but on the nights where it's only in the 20's-30's it holds it's own and stays 20-30 degrees above the outside temps without any heat. This is due to the 15 or so sq yards of soil I put in there....the undersoil mini GHAT system we installed....and the 1000 gallon "pond".....all of which help regulate temps overall. During the day I see a good 40F spread in temps from inside to outside. Right now we cruise about 80F most of the day.....so that heat gets stored in everything in there and then releases back into the dome overnight. We do some veggies in there.....as I said...the grafted tomatoes lasted 1-2 years. This was the last of 5 indoor plants.....plants that vine 10 ft high and produce all year long....lettuce here there...but the aphids love that shit...spinach as well.... so mostly...after 4 years of owning it....we just drag the outdoor plants inside at the onset of frost and have flowers and tropical stuff growing all winter. It's a great place to go get high on a cold winter day.....

Corn/etc.......you just gotta find/buy those fast flowering bitches....LOL.....just like the weed. We did a row the last 2 years of this...... did well. Made some kill sweet relish and munched a few ears as well. It's smaller but there are 2 ears on a stalk vs. one....and it's 75 days vs. like 100+ for many varieties.

lookin forward to Summer here......gonna be awhile though.

Driving around a skunk mobile...

Hung plants in garage and lots of terps gassed off it seems into my car. Was driving to work smelling my hands, clothes etc. trying to figure out where that kill was coming from.

Will trim whatever is ready when I get home and start prepping dinner for V-Day.

I had another fantastic morning carting 100 gals of water through the house, it was res change day and water storage refill day as well, and the 11 degree night and today's high of 30 so far has slightly frozen my hose and spigot solid 😂😂😂 and did it all in slides 🤣🤣🤣
