LOL....maybe today? Fuckin tracking has dropped off again.....no further tracking/movement shown since it was in Alabama. Like I said...at least it's just a pH pen. Not gonna lose sleep or get >the letter<. No worries. I always have VISA backing me up. It only takes a second to reverse charges. THEN folks hop and care...LOL.

Got a FREE granite countertop a few years ago from BLowe's through that method of bitchin'. Fuckers didn't install it correctly.....and it took em 6 MONTHS to figure out what to do.....which was have some dude come out and TRY to fix it. He did OK...but it wasn't right. Every time I'd call during that 6 month period to try to rectify the problem there would be a NEW "Kitchen Manager" and we'd have to start all over again with the story of what the fuck happened. Finally REVERSED the entire $4500 charge.....thinking...you know...if they DIDN'T HAVE THEIR $$$ anymore they'd jump when I said "jump fucker". Nope. They had 45 days to respond to the complaint....and they didn't.....so VISA reversed it and I got a free countertop. Fuckers were then calling me asking if I was happy...and offering me $1000 back! SO FUCKED UP...they are......they didn't even know I'd already got ALL of my $$$ back. Needless to say...while it was tempting...i told em I didn't want their cash. The guy couldn't figure it out. I just told him I was rich and didn't need the $$$.... heehee....

It's always somethuin' EVERYTIME I order something there's some sort of fuck up. I dunno what it is....but it doesn't seem like folks are doing their jobs. Prolly lookin in their fuckin PHONE rather than doin the job they were paid to do. 🖕 We'll see if BLowe's can get my new water heater here today without fuckin it up....

BLowes might be a headache at times but they have made my shit right a couple times. I bought a scratch and dent fridge. Like a $2800 fridge that has everything but a ball wash. I think I paid a grand for it. Has the freezer on the bottom. Got it home. The track the freezer drawer rides on broke. They replaced the whole freezer drawer, which was the only damages part of the scratch and dent. Gave me a $200 store coupon for my trouble(Always ask about them).

Then the ice maker broke. Replaced it completely, another $200 store coupon.

Randomly stopped working. Lost everything in it, I was pissed. Wife itemized everything as we threw it out. Reimbursed us for groceries and another $200 coupon. Couldn’t find the problem.

I lightly restocked it, figuring it would happen again. It did. This time they replaced the whole fridge, the model I had was discontinued, so I got the next one up, The $3000 one, for free.

This happened over 4 months or so. I had some headache in it but only paid $400 for the fridge if you figure the coupons.

Had similar issue with a dishwasher. They eventually replaced it too.


guessing next time I’ll just get bent over and rode dry if I tried that again.

They sent me an email about 10 days ago saying they'd deliver the hot water heater LAST Monday.

Fucker never showed. Was here...waiting..all damn day. Then...there was no call/etc. to reschedule/apologize/whatever.... so i ended up having to call them. Anyone who knows me knows i hate talking on the phone...especially about "problems". Such is why I don't own a cell phone.....

Then you call em.....and in EVERY option/line/Dept you can choose.......the phone just RINGS and RINGS...then you get transferred back to the operator/main menu to do it all over again. I hit EVERY fuckin Dept til i got a human to answer. you can tell they make a shit ton of profit cus they don;t care and can write shit off...like you found out....rather than dealing with the problem.

I always wonder if it's just me that's so "lucky". Guess not....LOL.

And this is a Bag of Oranges from Useful. 4 inches tall....wide as 2 gallon pot....and stacking nodes like a mofo. No tellin where she will go when the flip comes.......but she's definitely a squat bee-atch so far.

FWIW...hot water heater made it.....pH pen finally left Alabama....I guess they couldn't find my address there. Now it's just listed as "In Transit" ......so we'll see tomorrow where they send it next....maybe.

Thanks. I enjoy extending a hand when I can to good peeps. Had a big ass dinner @ the neighbors and took their kids some 40 mg brownies...but other than that it was a no fanfare day. Just a lot of crushing/heavy memories....but such is life (and death). Tighten the belt, ride the ride.

Thinking about flippin these ladies. Startin to really take off and the unknown s-t-r-e-t-c-h factor is starting to enter my mind. Not looking for a huge yield so will probably play it safe.

Set up some ventilation on a cycle timer last night to prep for bloom....mostly to remove some humidity from the tent. Humidity is 40 to 50% in the garage and the level in the tent is obviously higher. I hate wet/steamy walls. Scares me...LOL.

Liking the LED's a lot so far. Still think the footprint is a bit weak compared to a 1000. Definitely a directional thing cus the hps spreads the light out much further.. I'd love to slap another one of these in here but I can't justify the cost when I have hps on hand. Once these spread out/fill in a bit more I'll likely have to to something.

Ph pen is still floating around out there! It's nuts. Gotta be a fucked up address/etc and they can't fully route it. Dunno...but it made it to Denver....left Denver,....then went back to Denver......now it's sitting idle again...almost 24 hours later. Something is major fucked up..... 3 weeks now...2.5 "in transit" on a "Priority Mail" shipment. IF it makes it I'm guessing it'll be trashed/an opened box/some other shit cus there have been too many delays and reroutes for something weird to not be going on.

Still $.02 here. The take is appreciated.

The LED is like the FlowBee. Had to have one cus all of the cool kids did. :ROFLMAO:

Fortunately I'm not growing for weight per se'......so we will see if there's a noticable drop in such things. It is nice to not have so much heat. Might even play a bit in the Summer. I can see the advantages though if you didn't care how much it costs to fill a nice, commercial size area and wanted to reduce your electrical consumption. 1/2 the power and a whole lot less heat to deal with IS a huge draw for many, Im sure...even with the scant coverage on the sides. I still doubt that you'd get the "hps" effect that happens when you start packing in multiple (vert) lamps and the light starts becoming one huge glow on EVERY surface...LOL.

Pretty sure that USPS and the rest of em are unprepared for the inslaught of shit folks buy these days and it just crushes/backs thier system up like crazy.... We have 3 items that have been in transit forever....and one that may have just disappeared.... we will see if any of em show.... Fortunately,,,,no drugs involved.

Sure haven't @SSGrower .....but I think they could have easily had a bit larger footprint with the concentration of light their charts show in the center of the light. I'll likely just add more light @ some point rather than try to modify/etc. these. If I was in this for the $$ I'd certainly be more on it/into it. Basically... I would have already added a 3rd light and not had this conversation in the first place....heehee.

I have no idea what they draw. Gotta be less than 480w though...correct? I'm just a plug and play kinda guy, FWIW.

LOL, kinda pictured the same.
If you have the real deal hlg rspec, I think it comes with the A version driver. This driver allows dimming and I was was thinking since you seemed like the plug and play type, you might not have made any adjustments from the factory and potentially the light could be set at a slightly dimmed output. You can adjust by pulling the rubber cap on the dirver and using a small phillips.

Stephenj37826 on riu is affiliated with hlg and is pretty helpful.

Haven't had the time to dink with (dinky...LOL) lights/etc. I've been havin fun building a new laundry area, playing "Sparky" all day with old, cobbled together house wiring, and busting out the walls in el bathroom. (you get your remodel done?) Gonna have it down to studs by tomorrow. A total gut....all new everything....down to/including the sewer pipe. Ah....home owner$hip.

I didn't buy my lights from hlg but it's the same components from my understanding. Some dude in NC is putting these together. He added a pre-wired rheostat type dimmer on it. I can jot down what driver it came with if yer interested. I just set it on 11 and went on my way.

Got the master bathroom taken care of and started on the basement floor, goal was to have it rentable by new year's but that's not happening. Maybe mid Jan.

Sounds like the c type driver then and I would guess its drawing close to 480 watts then, I dont know them well enough but jesse might.

LOL, its possible you're thinking about my buddies basement I was helping with? He is getting closer but when we got the new place I had to shift gears and havent been able to do outside work. After getting punchlist done we are living in new place but will never be done. On the big list is an extension to the garage with sunroom above.

As long as they used the right potentiometer, if you cranked the dial to 11 it is running at max.

You were attacking tiles/grout in a tub area if I remember correctly. Either way....it's too bad the market sucks cus you could have made far more $$$ per month using it as a grow house than a rental. :ROFLMAO: Rentals don't last long here. Lotsa folks lookin'....and prices reflect it..

Nah, this is just a hobby, I actually forbid growing in my leases. Had a broker contact me when we listed our first rental back in 2014 offering 3-4 times what we were asking if I just turn the other way. The better investment was finding a tenenant that has been there this whole time. One of the neighbours had to pop the roof off their rental cause of mold from a grow...Insurance wont cover when local juristions laws are broken (i.e. plant counts and residential zoning laws) many limit hid lamp size to 250W one reason why I use led btw.
