Big Terps

Growing on a dime
It's been a good light, I'm just looking for something dimmable.
Hey Fiddler, just curious cause you said you was looking to upgrade from that ts1000 cause it wasn't adjustable brightness....

The ts1000 I had when they first released them bout 4-5 yrs ago had a adjustable screw on the driver for brightness?

Is yours a 150 watt like mine was?
Or do they make em different now?

Not trying clog your thread @BobbyResigliano, just was confused bout the mars... I like the HLG u just got, it's even got the lm301h diodes..
Good grab for the price..
Thx

I have 2 TS1000 and they are both like Big Terps mentioned "adjustable" just a bit of a pain in the ass to do so as you have to remove a little rubber plug on top of the driver to be able to get at the internal screw to actually adjust it.

My 1000 is the same kinda driver. All my smaller 165 watt HLG QB kits are also like that. Only the 260 watt kits came with dimmers. I just post them as high as possible and turn them up to 3/4. Set it and forget it!

I couldnt wait any longer. I had to cut everything down and get ready for the new new. Only the Fire Kush was too early. It started flowering so late that I would have had to keep it around for a few more weeks by itself. Fuck that. Old 4x8 has been dismantled and new tents will start going up tonight. Will prob take a few days to get them fully setup. Cant wait to smoke the new dank tho. It looks and smells fire.

Man these Infinity 69 PROs are very user unfriendly. I need a damn course on how to use these things. I have no idea how this shit works. Its like pushing random buttons. Im about ready to send this bullshit back

These were supposed to make my life easier. So far it's been the exact opposite. My old shit is basic but at least it always works and I know how to work it lol. I've already packed up the Infinity stuff besides the clip fans and filter. Im keeping those. Plus the inline fans felt so cheap being super light. I know weight isn't everything but I was shocked when I removed it from the box. It felt like there is no motor in it. On high speed it was incredibly loud. Prob just nitpicking when comparing them to the vortex. Not worth the $425 to me.

They are the quietest inline fans I’ve had that push that kind of volume. They are going to sound louder without being mounted with a hose and filter though. Their pro controller is complicated to configure, which is what I was saying in my post when you first asked about them, and that is why I recommended the regular controller 69. But, if setting up the automation of them is still too complicated for you then you’d be better off just getting their simple fan controller that just lets you set the speed. The benefit of their more advanced controllers is that they will dial down the CFM when the conditions are good and ramp it up when the humidity gets high.

I'm an analog man myself. All my lights and fans have those cool ports like for a phone charger and they all still have the little plugs in them ;)

IMHO gardening is gardening. If you have a job on the road and have to be gone for weeks at a time I can see getting into the autamation andd remote access stuff, and salt growing with dose-a-tron's added in. If it's a choice between "I can't grow because I work" aand automation I dig it.

But if you can be there, be there. That's part of the fun. If I have the power go out for any amount of time I just go around and twist the timer a few clicks on each tent. Lo-tech means less to break. I have had re-vegges because the analog timer got hit and a few buttons pushed. I can only imagine the stress of hoping you got the electronic shit figgered out so the lights come on and go off like you want. Adding in the other stuff is just more stress.
