I’ve been putting it in a 5gal bucket, then add boiling water, close up the bucket with a lid, and then let it sit until it’s room temp.

What's messed up to me about coir is that people claim that you don't need any heat at all. While others claim that you need to pasteurize it. The tek that I've been following calls for cooking the coir to provide a better nutritional value to the cvg.

Yeah, I’ve heard you can cold pasteurize it but I find pouring boiling water in it to be easy enough.

He gave me a permanant discount code but he didn't send enigma. I didn't ask for it, though, because the discount and his prices are great as it is.

What strains did you get? I recently ordered some more APE and a z strain I also asked for another enigma. He usually sends a cool sticker with every syringe. Great customer service. All around I'm very pleased with his work.

So I had a thought not sure how well it will work but I'm going to recycle my coco from my grow into mushroom substrate...and after that outside into my garden beds

Do you already use the same coco for your shrooms? The reason I ask is because a lot of coco that it made specifically for plants comes with trichoderma in it purposely to fight of fungus. It's one of the reasons people recommend using coco that is made for reptile bedding.

No I use two different kinds of coco floraflex quickfills for growing then the blocks of coir for my boomers.
