A very distinct Hazeman Elepahant stomper. She's frosty and nice but not super potent or loud and only produces small buds. BUT the way she stretches in flower, there are a lots of them, they are rock hard with hardly any leaf and it's like the plant did a leaf strip all of its own. I've got one 3 weeks in, I'll get a snap and you'll see what mean.

I'm gonna hit her to a few different plants including the my stardawg, spacemonkey cuts, the best of her sisters I find and probably couple of others I'm running for the 1st time

H.A.OG polyBX
BX1 : Male selection & flip

I started the initial F1 using a Black Triangle male. I thought the heavy OG influence in the Black Triangle would be a great starting point. Were I selecting a single male, I may have chosen something more structurally different than the H.A.OG to make the selection easier to spot a H.A.OG pheno.

I selected these three males from the (H.A.OG x Black Triangle)F1 as the best representatives of the main phenotypes expressing from the population. The second male looks most like the H.A.OG.

I have some freshly flipped H.A.OG in flower and will be flowering these males in clear storage totes. I can collect a heavy vial of pollen from each to dust the H.A.OG for the first round of backcrossing. Since they'll need to be much smaller to have room to stretch in the tote, they were heavily pruned and further dissected for info.

Will you be making these available for purchase?
Not sure. I reversed the Chem'91 for a write-up about STS reversing and figure since I went through the trouble of reversing her, I might as well put her to use. I have plans to take the Chem'91 S1 and refine through successive S2, S3.... generations.

What is the difference between this sour d and ecsd?
This Sour Diesel was shared to me as "Rattlesnake Diesel". Pressing the breeder who shared it for more info (there isn't too much about it) he said it's an old Sour Diesel cut from Laytonville, CA. I know this breeder's source for the cut is a guy who has access to an amazing library of great plants.

In researching it, I found that Laytonville is in Mendocino county along with Rattlesnake Summit (a geological feature). So I'd assume the "Rattlesnake" part of the name is just further reference to the region in which it was popularized/made/or shared. There are a couple mentions of "Rattlesnake Sour Diesel" through Google searches that come up as a relatively recent cross between Sour D x C99, but this cut pre-dates C99.

The Rattlesnake Diesel has a sharp, sour, electric "green-candy"-esque smell with a volatile fuel note. She doesn't creep when you toke, she'll twist you up in short order.
