The Not So Infamous Grow Journal: Eso Strains ONLY in DWC & Soil

Twinkle Tarts, Albino Boogieman and Grape Dum Dum....

Just wanted to show a difference between a few plant's nodes....Looks like the T.T's is going to be a nice bushy plant when she gets bigger.

I removed the fan leaves from the top nodes to allow the new growth the space and light. I did a small feed today as well. Looks like the plants are eating a bit more then the soil provides. Will move to around 40% of the rec dose.

Above the Twinkle Tarts plant...slight phosphorus def starting. Each plant is showing a def on its own. Today's feed 'should' correct that. 5mg per gallon of cal-mag as well.

Twinkle tarts 🤤🤤🤤🤤
@thenotsoesoteric got some legit fire over there. Countless pics of beautiful looking plants on his thread. I could only hope mine turn out to be half as nice. We are slowly getting there though. Once my DWC plants in flower are done....these will be headed into right after. Gives me about a good 4 weeks to get them trained and ready for flip. Should be almost an 8 week veg time. Will have to look back and see the drop dates.

First up....Tropical Dunder.

Tropical Dunder has done very well with topping and recovery time. The node spacing on her is much tighter then other plants I am running. Very nice and rapid growth from her. I am expecting the plant to be on the short side after stretch but very bushy. Possible multiple defoliations needed to open her up. When those top leaves have that slight bend...I have noticed the plant grows fast. Has taken first and second feeds very well. Average feeder so far. Healthy plant showing no signs of toxicity or deficiencies. Some funky leaf formations on a couple leaves. 116239393_1749383465199886_3073856061234297761_n.jpg

Second plant on the list: Albino Boogieman

Albino Boogieman has also done very well with topping. Looks as she will be on the bushy side as well but am seeing rapid growth from side nodes. Possible big stretcher in flower? She has also has taken to both feeds very well. Average feeder so far. No toxicity or deficiency. Big fan leaves. Prior to topping, her side nodes were already growing out, the top just triggered it into overdrive.

Moving onto the 3rd plant. Welchie

Noticed a slight delay in the plant after a topping. Could have possibly needed water at the time too. She did not look happy 12 hours after topping her. I did water right after so it could have been she was just thirsty. I'll update her reaction next modification. Slight darkness to her leaves. Possible Nitrogen Toxicity...Still, seeing average growth with her too. May note that she could possibly be a light feeder. Will monitor this over the next week to see how I want to approach her next feed. Tallest of all the plants right now and this was from drop #2. I can see this plant needing alot of growth removed prior to getting her into flower and removing a little the first couple weeks of flower. NOTE*** something beginners should stay away from for the first couple grows. Medium sized fan leaves compared to the Albino Boogieman. Another plant with awesome side growth prior to being topped.

Moving along to the 4th plant. Stank Bubble

Smaller plant of the bunch but was in drop #2. Topped after this picture was taken and removed the first node as usual. Slight dark tint to the older fan leaves. New growth looks perfect. Seems to have taken to both feeds well but will monitor this plant as well to make sure I am getting no toxicities. I can't really give an accurate description at the moment as I have been letting her do her thing. Will update her log next week.

On to the next one...Twinkle Tarts.

Twinkle Tarts right now seems to be a very heavy feeder. I have a slight phosphorus deficiency but new growth looks great so problem " could have " corrected itself. Another plant that went into overdrive after being topped. I seen no delay at all with her. May be the tallest of the bunch when it's all said and done. Sativa like maybe??? Going to check a few grows to see how her stretch in flower is. She also drinks alot more then the other plants at the moment too. Notice she's the one who shows signs of needing water prior to the other plants. Maybe start bending her when I transplant to get away from the vertical growth and get her more on the bushy side. Challenge accepted!!!

Next subject on this list...Dinoberry Bites

Dinoberry Bites looks to be a cal-mag hog. Noticed a slight delay after topping and removing a set of fan leaves. Short and compact plant for the moment. Plant was in drop #1 as well. Going to be keeping a close eye on her over the next week or 2. Slower then usual growth. Other problems possibly? Could have been recovery time from modifications. Will top 1 set next time around to see how the plant reacts to her side node being topped. Very short and fat leaves.

Last on the list....Black Grape Dum Dum.

The Black Grape Dum Dum seems to have taken the feeds well but may be a heavy feeder. Starting to see some yellowing on her lowest set of leaves. Possible Nitrogen deficiency....Heavy feeder? Will also monitor her over the next week. Has taken to topping extremely well. Plant did not skip a beat. Another plant that should be great with topping and LST. Great side branching on her too. She's a short compact plant but seems will have a ton of nodes that will need to be removed in flower. Another plant that may need multiple defoliations throughout her life cycle.

Glad u popped the stank! She looks awesome. How the pots working?
Thanks!!! Loving those 1 gallons though. Probably going to grab a ton more just to have them. The small pots I had them in prior to putting them in 1 gallons will probably be tossed or just used when I start seedlings. Not much bigger then a Solo cup....just much wider. Going to be firing up a new tent and moving them over to final pots though within a week. Gonna start training them after the move too.
