@Tvanmunhen ,only orchards that big i've seen were in calie ,keep the left door shut and you can make miles. did the Quin pick any coonass accent down south in new orlaens?

the way those people eat i would weight in at 400lb.i know when i worked down there i ate real good for several months then had to buy a bigger wet suit, and go on a diet to drop weight,i bent the boarding ladder!

Spent a couple hours on side of the mighty Mississippi last evening with my son..
With the fuckn temps close to 100 degrees for a week now, we didnt catch a thing..
Well let me rephrase that, i caught a hell of a buzz, but no

Still was nice to get out of the house and spend sum time with him...
Heres a couple pics of the bridge that wont be here in couple years cause theyre tearing it down and building a new one..
Definitely need the new one..

Heres sum other random pics i took earlier this year when i went out and was looking for sum morels but was to late to the party..
I found every shroom that grows in this area except the morels.. lol
Pics was taken at parents house where theres old growth forrest along the bluffs..
Lots of neat stuff..
Cicadas was everywhere. Never seen them that thick..
Anyways heres sum randoms from that day..
The 4th pic of tree is the biggest on the property.. i think its a white ash.. pic don't show just how big it is.. prolly close to 6-7 foot around..

...gosh it was miserable and of course at best they'd let you take off the uniform shirt. I remember my clothes sticking to me..yeah that deep south heat is a bitch..it was beautiful though, the piers and shrimp boats. I have some stories lol..2 bases there air force and the seabees. I was in USNMCB 74.

My wife would have loved that! We used to hike around and check out the trees and mosses. She loved rocks and geodes as well. She loved nature, God I miss that woman.
