Filled nine hollow logs with mix to mellow out until spring. They are 16'' tall so that should help keep them safe from rabbits (at least it did this year) we'll see.

One of the auto seeds is doing surprisingly well despite highs of 65 and lows 54 in my overwinter space.

Do you have the a heat mat you could plug in for the root zone even though the rest of the room is cold?

Nah, these were just beans I dropped to check viability from the chucks. If I turn on the extra shop light it'll warm up to 70ish. The only plants of concern are the Raspberry Boogie 6&10 and I'm confident they'll be fine. These are just just giving me data on the next generation for now.

77 days from sprout
Not too shabby for lights on temps of low 60s and off in the low low 50s.

She's super hairy and smells like bruised apples and fish tank. We'll see how this turns out.

Day 89 from sprout:
Pistles are starting to brown and trichs are getting milky.

Smells like something overripe in the tropical fruit section. Touching the lower crows feet the aroma is freshly chewed juicy fruit gum. It'll be a nice little nugget if I don't mess up the dry.

Leaves are getting crispy getting blasted by the fan.

You can definitely see how it's plumped up since the last pic. I have heard that's how some breeders do their chucking, look at all those pistils and think of how many packs of seeds that would make. Clone from male A and female B and right into flower and you have enough for a hunt to see if it's worth doing a mass production.

I looked at it as a sign of possible dense nugs, since a sparkling calyx has to wrap each stigma. Pure speculation on my part though.

Day 91 from sprout:

The unknown auto is starting to get milky on the bottom clusters.


The top isn't showing any amber yet.


We'll see in a week where she stands. Her daddy was advertised as 100 day from sprout to harvest and that's where I harvested them +/- a week.

There's still lots of white pistils. I wouldn't really worry about the trichs until they are mostly brown. I don't think an auto would be prone to keep growing like a photo plant would, with the foxtailing and such.

Still a lot of clear on the lowers.

Tried some crispy sugar leaves and there was a sweet floral flavor but was tainted by the fresh green taste.

Finally some amber showing up on the top. Let's see where she's at this weekend.

Yesterday she received her final watering. As soon as she starts to droop I'll snip all the fan leaves and anything without trichomes. She will mostly dry in the container.

Emptied out the castings and restarted my worm bins feeding the pruned bits from my moms and rootballs from the undesirable volunteers in the ''veg'' bin
