But my spouse can't. Her job offers healthcare coverage. So she has to use it. She is not eligible for mine.
Tell me what type of shit that is! I'm so fucking pissed!!! They take it out of her shitty paycheck. For a shitty plan. This blows! 2 forward 1 back. Fml

Ive had the most memorable week of my life.
I had covid last week. Which gave me time to fix my lights leaks in my room.

This week I get my new job as a union electrician! Ive been out of the electrical field for almost 10yrs. But my body wanted me to go back. I applied in april. I signed all the papers and start Tuesday for my old company.

Then my dreamhouse pops up Tuesday night on the old internet.
So i yold my boss im leaving the carpenters union and buying my new house 😆

For those that know me IRL ive had some issues these last 6months. But maybe that minor setbacks led to a major comeback.... I have angels guiding me. Ive lost loved ones and lost my faith. I needed this moment of success and luck on my side.

This is my wave. Imma ride this mofo right to shore. Cowabunga my brothers. Its about time!!

Hey man, good for you on your new job and getting back in the Union. Things are looking up!
I need to go back to work myself, I'm a vested Union Carpenter and Union Boilermaker both.
I got another year and a half to go before I can take my retirement packages.
I can't quit smoking "dope" long enough to pass a drug screen.
It's hard not to smoke when around weed all the time.
My state's prohibition laws aren't fair for someone like me. lol
How old are ya Terp if you don't mind me asking?

36. I got an associates in electrical service tech. It was broad an covered all aspects. Controls, residential, commercial, industrial, etc.
I graduated and did non union electrical in Fl for 5 yrs.
Got bored and wanted more. So I got a BS in construction MGMT. It led me to wantifng to buld shit. So I joined the carpenters. It gelped me level out and settle down. Bought a fixer upper 5 yrs ago. Now its time fot change again.
New house. New career. Fuck man. Its all coming at once. But this healthcare shit is bogus. Why should Mt wife gets downgraded for having a steady job on her own.

My wife is not allowed to been on my insurance because her job offers healthxare. Therefore if she has my child. All of her appts will be out of pocket till she reaches deductible. Then the childbirth isnt covered... How tf does this make any sense. She is passed. But I've done what I had to so to stabilize myself and my family. Now its time to move on too greener pastures.
In the carpenters ive maxed out as journeymen.
I took a chance and deopped back to an "aaprentice" with the chance to almost double my previous rate as an electrical journeyman.

The healthcare system is broken. It cost my sister n law 800.00/month to have my brother on her Ins. after Obamacare kicked in. He ended up getting on Medicaid, now I am dealing with the state taking all his shit for a 44,000 nursing home bill. House, 3 acres of land and a lifetime of hoarding.
I have postponed (Executor of his estate) turning a list of his shit over to the lawyer so everything can be sold. I took care of them for 10 years and I get a big "nothing". This is morally wrong. They want the land. Someone like Blackrock will step in a buy the place and turn me homeless.

i know the pain for the fist 5 years we were together i made more, than my wife then i went to work for myself first year was rough the things leveled out there were days , when i came home with close to 1500a day.everything set up like i wanted, dead man anchors,two and three pass pullies started with a16 ft.x 4 ft. bottom allweld boatand a 40horse motor, two years later a new 24 ft x 74 in bottom boat with a 150 horse ,would pull idiots off sand bars, mud flats , dove for sunken boats, i've been sent down for rings. high dollar watches ,billfolds , you name it. i've found it. or they never got me to the right place to look, i allways wanted to go back to some places to check em out with a metal detector, as gold dont rot , my wife , says no more dives , due to my health/heart, i'm not done yet, she wants me to sell my dive gear,it ai,nt happenning .hell back in the day every boat anchor, i could lay my hands on brought money a lot of times i would get 6 or 7 a day most of 'em from big day cruisers , and would sell them to local boat /bait shops.The good life workin for my wife and kids,myself.

i agree the laws are set up to grease some rich donars palms, my wife and i have it set now to were we have a lifetime dowery to the house and ground the kids get this after we are gone they will have to divide,thing up.

How old are you?
My dad (retired riverboat captain)ended up in Clearwater commercial fishing in the early 80's. (Pablo Escabar days)
I always suspected he was into hauling contraband. Him and a buddy ordered a couple sister "mail order" brides from Honduras. I have the prettiest half sister you ever saw. lol
Then he moved to Arkansas at the end of a tiny airstrip in the middle of nowhere. Lived there during the Clinton drug trafficking era.
Speaking of scuba diving,
One time I was in Miami and we decided to go scuba diving. We showed up to the dive place and they ask for my license.
So I handed him my drivers license and he laughed and held up a snorkel outfit and said, "this is all you can do". I was heart broken. lol
Still had fun and those all night Tiki bars.
Rum Runners! lol

The state can literally go back 5 years before Medicaid signup and claim any properties in that persons name. It's best to get assets out of a parents name early on in life. Wills are meaningless in that 5 year window.
Crooked MF's they are.

I dove 126 ft down once spearfishing for grouper on a sunken freighter ship off west coast ft Myers. Fantastico. It was fun. I chased a huge Goliath grouper jew fish and I went up too fast and fucked up my ear. It is dangerous.
I recieved my scuba license while getting my associates degree. It is incredible being down that far and looking up. Its on my bucket list to go again.
