I always was curious how one would figure out how much they need a dayAny of you guys grow in coco/perlite?
Im at wits end and been battling this grey algae for almost a year and at the point of abandoning my rdwc system and going with a drip system.
Use something like this.
48 Plant Irrigation Kit | DripRight
HydroLock Covered Irrigation 48 Plant kit contains everything you need (except long PVC and reservoir) to turn any garden into an automated watering powerhouse. This quick install kit allows the grower to irrigate like a PRO using 1/2 inch PVC in many different configurations and layout...www.dripright.com
But not sure if you just let it drain off on the floor or have to recirculate it?? Seems to me it would be dirty so a drain to drain lol how many plants in a 4x4 area? 4? I have 1 big flower area a 12x 16 and another one the same size which i use tents. I have 5 2x4 tents that i use for flowering and a 4x8 that i use for vegging. When plants are big enough to flower i pick em up out of the water and place em in the flower locations and smash down a net on top. Thats essentially how Ive been doing it for past few years. I need something automated cause im not around for watering 2x a day when lights would be on
lots of room keep weaving until the 3rd week then let em do their thingAny advice on these girls.? 12 days after flip should i still be weaving, its my first scrog. Or should i letem start to grow up wards.. and trim out the under neath more ?
Any advice would help.. thanks View attachment 79269View attachment 79270
I would just run it drain to waste rather than saving and recycling/recirculating. If I was doing full automation I’d set it up for feed/watering multiple times a day at a lower ppm lvl and dial in that dry back.Any of you guys grow in coco/perlite?

Are they stretchy? If not let them go up. Next time veg 2 weeks longer. I think you will like the way the net is filledAny advice on these girls.? 12 days after flip should i still be weaving, its my first scrog. Or should i letem start to grow up wards.. and trim out the under neath more ?

In my rdwc i always liked to stay under 600 ppm.I would just run it drain to waste rather than saving and recycling/recirculating. If I was doing full automation I’d set it up for feed/watering multiple times a day at a lower ppm lvl and dial in that dry back.
Floraflex in soil FTW. Soiless mediums will still have the same algae and root issues. I love rdwc but was just to much headache trying to prevent shit. Made it to where is just to much work to justify the benefits. Floraflex and soil pots. Set em and forget em.Any of you guys grow in coco/perlite?

Its best to have the net filled in 60 percent before you flip. You want your bud sites above the net not under itAny advice on these girls.? 12 days after flip should i still be weaving, its my first scrog. Or should i letem start to grow up wards.. and trim out the under neath more ?

850 ppm every 2 days. I recirculate back to the totes. Top off fresh water in the totesAnd how frequently are you watering/feeding?
Is it still safe to get rid of lowers? I also noticed ur beautiful plants on u tube is there a reason u dont scrog? Its best to have the net filled in 60 percent before you flip. You want your bud sites above the net not under it
