Now Elmhurst is the epicenter of the epicenter..........getting worse......no joke.I have family in Elmhurst. The freezer trucks have been there for a month. No joke. I listen to the people who are ON the scene. I turned off the tv 2 months ago.
My best friend is now addicted to conspiracy theories. He sleeps 2 to 4 hours a night if he gets that much. He shows me stuff about Hillary and Obama and that they are fighting for satan and will soon be arrested for child enslavement and eating babies.
I can't talk to him anymore. The whole pandemic is God vs Satan and God will triumph in the end because the bible says so.

New York state had 155,191 deaths in the year 2017. Thats like 13k a month. I don’t fuckin trust the news. Life where I am is basically normal. I had 2 closings this week. Cashiers checks had to be done through the drive up, that’s convenient. groceries, we are not without anything and everything is open, little to no change here. What exactly are they going to do with the bodies? If 30 people are dying every hour, well tha'ts 30 funerals needed per hr too.

Wouldn’t take much to turn a refrigerated warehouse into body storage. Doesn’t take much. Military can set it up in short order.

As for the military, lol, yes they have been stellar. They set up some cots and light partitions in the javits center......which is wide fucking open. Then they said no sick people could use the facilities. After their ass was reamed out, they changed their policy.

I'm just horrified watching this from Central Cal. Relatively small town, 10,000. Folks are being decent for the most part now, but I have a feeling they were way too casual for way too long. I know something is coming, but what? Got 5 grandkids 9 and under. A couple are starting to have a hard time. Me too, but it's tough to know what to say, or do. Just thinking out loud here.

I try and watch at least some of Cuomo's daily whine.........mostly the stats. When he starts telling stories, change the dial.
But, over the last few days the chronic whining about ventilators, has gotten quiet. Because in the beginning they thought these people on ventilators would be getting better. Remember when a pledge of 1000 ventilators was huge............but now the supply grows, after 3100 dead in 4 days, that's a bunch of spare ventilators. Maybe not matching precisely, but a net gain for sure.

I don't know who to believe...but I believe fully that the bodies are piling up and somebody didn't quite take this to ZERO.
The slow response time and time wasted talking about this being a Dem hoax has ramped things up farther than we would have seen had the truth been revealed from the get go. It is what it is now though. He was as prepared as he is experienced. Plain and simple.
We're going on a month of staying at home. Been to the Post Office a few times but that is just down the hill and I didn't see a soul when I went. Take the Clorox wipes and hope for the best. Ditto with heading to the grocery. Gonna have to make a trip sometime soon. Gotta go get a script...so that will draw me out....if I wanna sleep that is....
But damn...sure am getting lots of shit crossed off the "to do" list. How about you?

I got u. my buddy just opened up a business. I can’t find them anywhere. The only ones that he can’t get now are the n95 masks. They just recently cut him off. Us government just made a deal with China so now China won’t sell no n95 masks to anyone except the government. Any other kind of mask he can get. The more u get the cheaper they get.
