Was wondering why a few seed plants haven’t pushed out a hair yet in my room and the clones are already forming little bugs. Thanks for the clarification for the noobs

If you are flowering immature plants you really have no idea how long they take, it’s sort of just a guess based on when you first saw signs of gender, which is most likely not the same day the plant reached sexual maturity lol.

2 ways, the one telltale sign is node offset. Watch the branches that come off the main branch, when they begin to offset your good to go. You should see sex parts right around or before this happens. Either hairs (female) or nuts male. The males will look like a calyx sometimes but if it has a tiny stem that attaches it to the main branch it's a male or a confused female. Typically will show up on early forced flowered females but go away after a week or so.

This is some amazing info thx! I just flipped four valley chem and noticed two getting droopy earlier than the others . Can't wait to see. It makes perfect sense though

i don’t think I’ve ever tried to 12/12 a plant before it started showing its sex My purple punch x la confidential goes a full 10 weeks.

I do tend to let mine go as far as possible tho. I like a good 30 percent amber when I harvest.

I’ve heard of people that start counting days After the plant starts showing signs of buds but I’ve always counted from the day I flipped to 12/12

Actually, not so much the color as the dehydration of the stalk that holds up the resin heads. They will either snap off or they will fall over and stick to the surface. You don't really want that, especially if you are "hash" makers.

Only hash I make these days is bho outa trim and the couple popcorns here and there.

I harvest then bc I like a little heavier high. I feel also like some of the benefits -Increase in appetite, pain relief, and help with insomnia are only increased with letting the plant mature to full ripeness obviously differing with every strain and differing on each persons preference

We are all here trying to help each other and if I can help shed a little more light on subjects, we all will benefit. This plant is amazing at what you can do with it. Can tailor it to an individuals preference. We still have a long way to go.
