@Seed of Memory you can see they did not stretch much from the pom poms to the opened up bushy version. You should be good on stretch. Maybe 1x
So do you think the smooth edged leaves are a male leaning trait or are they in the females as well? Or maybe it is a case of they are taking after the y chromosome. I can see my larger concern will be width and not height. That is going yo get crazy. As I'm still kind of early in veg would you recommend beginning defoliation now? They are some of the thickest growth I've seen so far and topping was a bitch because of how close the nodes were together. Thank you so much for the pictures! You have no idea how relieving it is to see those issues I've been having are just traits.

6/6 above ground on your ns x gs crosses, 5/6 had 1/8 in tails the last had just cracked after 48-72hr soak had to drop them in starter pots cause I was leaving town. The ns2 were slower by about 24hrs, the ns1 were in planted after 48hr. Also got 3/3 on @GroErr 's blue ripper, slight change of plans, going to let these veg a bit then stager them through flower.

A lot of my crosses are made with two very different plant morphologies for a reason. It is so that I can see the leaners clearly and recognize those in the middle and how the parents compliment one another, or don't.

The NS1 and NS2 are close to being similar in growth patterns. The NS2 is a colored pheno that puts off cool fuschia colored calyx, moreso with cooler temps . I am unsure if that is the Blue Moon Rocks or the Nigerian. The NS1 is a green phenotype (even when cool) that carries a bit more of a lifted sativa high that I'd like to see carry over.

You'll know if you get any Granny Skunk as the smells on those are pine and eucalyptus.

What I would really like to see is what the blend looks like. The Granny Skunk can get a little dense in growth. I'd like to see the NS open that up and produce bigger plants that need less thinning.
I have to say that with the bb x ns the parents compliment each other very well. The Nigerian learners have kind of a cream/cheese sweet flavour with just a hint of sandalwood. (Sound weird but very pleasant). The bodega learners are like a classic bubba kush type flavour and very gummy. Not a one of the plants had undesirable flavour. All exceptional yielders. Not one lacked potency. All could be grown by a monkey they were so easy going. All have amazing long lasting high. Seems like those parents combined basically can’t produce undesirable children lol. I can’t think of one single negative thing to say about that cross.. honestly I’m trying to think of something so I don’t sound like I’m dingus riding here 😆

Thank you for the kind words. I was just telling my son-in-law what an excellent job you did growing these out. I appreciate you!

A big part of the philosophy I have when I cross is to take a couple of parents that are really different in as many ways as possible. I do this because it makes looking at the crosses a lot of fun with who lends what traits where. This allows me to easily recognize and explain things when they are grown out.

When they fold and compliment well it's like winning on a scratcher ticket.

last bodega x Nigerian. Not seeing purple in the fade but the bud itself looks very colourful. Run off is at 5-550ppm. Only 150 ppm tap water from now on for her. Might even run a quart or two through the filter then through them roots. Let’s get our dank fade on.

Great job @Uncle Romulus! Thank you so much for testing these out. I know that you are growing hydroponically but perhaps you can enlighten us with your pot size, media of choice, nutes and feed regimen? You knocked these out of the park!

I’ve kind of scattered my growing info throughout lol. I’ll put it all here for good measure 👍
I‘ve been messing with one kratky plant here (heisenbasterd in 1.5-2 gal bucket)

But anyways you could fill a book with what I don’t know about hydro.
I use promix hp often mixed with coco.
haven’t grown in anything bigger than 3 gal in long time. I can get around a qp off a plant in a gallon pot so I think that will be pretty much it from now on. I like the red plastic Folgers coffee cans lately for smaller plants. I like keeping a lot of plants so big ones can be unruly for my perpetual setup. I use megacrop not because I overly like it but because its so damn cheap and actually available to me. I’m learning to like it. I use the odd other product but not very often.

I Feed moderately but every time. A little runoff every time. The way I see it constant availability of nutrients is better than big spikes. I keep it simple because I’m unorganized. I mix up nutrients a gallon at a time and stand there in the kitchen shakin it relentlessly with a joint in my lips Clint Eastwood styles.
I bang a lot of air through my space. 4 inch inline intake and 6 inch inline exhausting out of the room at all times. Using just over a thousand watts combined in 5x5 and 3x4 chambers. 2x 315 cmh, cobs and household led bulbs and such. Some 2700k, 3000k, 3100k, 3500k, 5000k, 660nm etc. Not sure what else.. hmm I don’t ph anything non hydro generally unless there is problems. I find my constant average feeding keeps thing where they need to be with my tap water and most fertilizer.

Just a short update. I dropped the sprouts, 4 each of BB10xNS, BWxNS and BBF2, into the tent about a week and a half ago. It took them a couple of days to get used to the new surroundings but they seem to be really enjoying it now.

Hey folks, I've enjoyed it here but I think I've run my race here and at RollItUp both.

I will leave my account open so I can respond to private messages. Hit me up privately if you want contact info. I set it up so that I'm emailed when someone sends a private message.

It's been real and I love and appreciate you all.
