I can dig that. I think that’s what I should do as well. It was something I was thinking about doing but I can see where it can get confusing. I did record the flip date so that was a blessing. No more dry stoned ideas for me🤣
I was thinking the other day. Let's say you have a veg tent and a flower tent. You're ready to flip. Leave plants in veg tent and flip veg lights to 12/12. Maybe even turn on another veg light and do the same just for more light intensity. Then in 2 weeks transfer to the flower tent which only has flower-type orange-red spectrum lights and continue. Would this control stretch, while getting the plants in flower mode?

I have flowered under t-5 , MH, HPS, Cmh. I haven’t really been able to see a difference in stretch. I would say that stretch is mainly genetic trait but I suppose if grown in poor conditions with extremely under lit room or tent you would accentuate said genetics or maybe a normally squat stocky plant could end up lanky and weak. I’ve seen things like that before. Good stuff spy!

Blue'r light decreases internodal distance.
I get less streching than other growers that I observe. I have never had a plant double in height. I flipped Skeleton cookies @ 15 inch, and they never made 2 foot.
I keep running my MH for the first couple weeks, before bulbing out to hps.
Well I am certainly no authority; three tactics that I have used to control stretch are :
High light intensity
Blue light spectrum
High night temperatures

These ladies are getting with the program. I have one of the ground pounders that is showing purple which I think is way cool. Everyone else is just a healthy green and getting frosty. The BFT was the stretchiest of the bunch but also seems to be putting on the frost the heaviest this early on. Day 26 since flip to 12/12E5B5E536-E5C4-4E00-BBEF-EDB7DFC676F7.jpegDED083E6-AE67-4A88-BCA1-031ECB852603.jpeg5BFEF8AA-F6CD-47D5-8A81-AC2F1153D264.jpeg2A9F5748-EA29-4A8D-B61C-08870769BA3A.jpeg68A2C05A-75A0-41AA-A172-BE4ED116ABB7.jpegBC393354-75AB-4BB7-A1E1-2C19C61B0D98.jpeg27CB0A5A-DD66-45D9-A2BC-4FCD92071716.jpeg887B2D0D-0E73-4ED2-BC76-1CC51B53119E.jpeg421B8216-298C-4AF7-8A65-B5A0BB1745AE.jpeg

Update:
God O War and Moontang Mystery

I hooked up the Flora Flex system and I've been using it for a few days now. I had some unused distribution outlets so some plants received two drip rings. So far I'm really digging it a lot. The maintenance has been minimal. They currently run for five minutes once per day.
IMG_3150.JPG

F&D Plants: I started with three God O War (left tote) and three Moontang Mystery (right tote). I ended up with one male in each and they were culled. I cleaned up everything below the net. I was able to weave quite a few branches in the beginning, but then I moved on to other projects and they pulled away from me a bit.
IMG_3153.JPG

The plants are now beginning week three and needed a little canopy maintenance.

I'll have more ready for trim throughout the week. They're taking 14-21 days to dry. (whole plant)

That would explain my tame on stretch for the most part. I keep my lights low-high intensity and my temps are higher then most in early flower.
So phylex how is floraflex going. I've been debating getting it for my mother's just so I don't have to spend 30 minutes to an hour watering 10 plants lmao.

9 Pound Blueberry #3

9PB3_20200114_174210.jpg

- Appearance –
Frosty, light green. The frost makes a layer that hazes out the green. Tight nugs and decent yield from a half gallon pot. 8.4/10

- Bouquet –
Lemon berry tart. Almost like a Sonic Lemon Berry Slush with extra tart. 8.5/10

- Dry Hit (Joint) –
You can really taste the tartness in the dry hit. Just like the bouquet, makes you do the "smack smack" savory tasting noise. - 8.5/10

- Smoke –
Berry toasted bread. Thought this was an anomaly but 3 J's later, it was all the same, all the way through. 8.0/10

- Effect –
Heady. Good morning smoke. Starts from the back of the head and wraps around to the eyes. Not quite a "Zorro Mask" effect, but you can definitely feel it. Suprising because of the 9 Pound Hammer parent. Some pain relieving effects especially in neck and shoulders. Low anxiety for being more heady. 8.7/10

Overall Rating (based on average of scores) – 8.4/10

Note: There were no significantly discernible differences between phenos, this one was a good representative of all three. One had more of a pronounced blueberry terp on the bouquet, but all of them had the lemon berry tartness. There is consistency among the phenos that were ran, not much variation other than a bit different structure. This strain needs more babysitting than some of the other strains we've ran, it will react to multiple stressors, but the end product is quite nice especially for wake n bake.

I'll need more time to see how it works for me long term, but I'm really digging it so far.

Love the pipe cleaners . Very useful tool in the garden. lol. @Phylex i am sure your nutrient program is similar to mine. we are both on v2 MC. I have been adding cali-mag just about every irrigation along with the MC .Are you having any calcium issues with your mix? I am having slight issues with calcium uptake with my mix. I already add 2.5 ml of cal-mag per gal when mixing with the MC to the coco perlite media. Any thoughts?

Thanks brother, it’s been fun. I gotta do a res change today which isn’t so much fun. I been using gh3 part at 321 ratio and have been using liquid kool bloom at 1ml per gal to start them light, ramp up and drop off. Thanks for the support and checking them out 🍻✌🏻
I went back to GH3 too after some time with powders. Using micro and bloom with koolbloom at the tail end. Gonna run this for a while. I had several issues with powders ranging from clumping due to humidity, weird ph issues, and overall cost effectiveness when considering the 'population' I have lol

Another stellar report spry. Man, my only problem is it makes it hard on me man. I read all the things that I’m missing and you know. All good brother, I enjoy your reports immensely. 👊🏻🍻

Thank you my man. There are a lotta things I'd like to try too. All in due time. I am very grateful and fortunate to be able to just run what I'm running now. You'll be getting to taste in that goodness pretty soon here, those plants look healthy AF.
