Oh got some pre-flowers! Still on 24, but 1 Black Mamba looking pretty female (Ovule shape, appears to be stigmas just peekin out. As well as 1 JP, for sure a young lady.

The 2 black mamba's show distinct differences, One long branches from the lowest set of leaves on up. The other only one branch at the very bottom. Otherwise nothing the rest of the way up. If thats a Fem she'll be old style SOG. Single stalk, small pots, and packed in for main colas. If clones dont change.

Getting excited 😁

i was stoked to see die antwoord at a festival a few years ago and they were pretty bad. i was disappointed. yolandi is terrible live. annoying tbh. ninja wasn't so bad.
they're hilarious as long as people understand they're characters. they're married and have kids outside of those characters.

BE THE BALL
I know, I know.....I had to suffer through years of people bringing Carlin records over [talk about buzzkill], or stoned visitors in a group giggle reciting Carlin jokes, like: " Hey, have you seen elevators? They go up. And then...they go down!. Whoa !" [ and the obligatory trippin' face when George says the punchline ].
Exhibit A - tell me the funny part if you find it. Anybody.

I mean, seriously....that's dreadful, am i right? Even includes a variation of his 'ups and downs' line applied to baseball and football. Whoa !

On the flippity flip, Sam Kinison would have only finished ahead of Carlin on my list, but everyone on the list except George cracked me up. I dare you to say this isn't just funny, but deadly true. Only the rare breed of men survive marriage intact. I mean, @ 1:20 is comedy gold, I don't care who you are. 🍌

"If I ever get married again, I want a guy with a drum there to do rim shots during the vows." [preacher] "Do you promise to love her in sickness and in health?" [Sam] "I sure do" [ man with drum] "Rim shot !"]
Btw, one of the better contest formats I have seen...good job!

I think it's all about timing and perspective. What matters, is your moment in time/perception. I do get what you are saying about Carlin. I remember listening to comedy albums at friends and I think the big 3 were, Cheech and Chong, Bill Cosby something, and one other like Jerry Lewis, I'm not totally sure. All those were sliced bread until they weren't. When Carlins album showed up, it was brilliant. I bet you liked Carlin in the beginning. Because it was new and different.............now it's old and tired. That can happen. I submit this picture to illustrate that something new and different can get old and tired. It happens..
My question is...Is she new and different?

:)

Even if you know her identity.............it's about perspective/timeframe, lol.

When I was quite small, my folks tuned in to a summer version of The Kraft Music Hall that starred John Davidson. I'm pretty sure that Carlin got his big break there, appearing as 'the hippy dippy weather man', doing more or less the same schtick he's known for. I promise you, I never found him funny. I could go on....or [using my Carlin impersonation] I could go...off ! Whoa ! :sneaky:

And speaking of contests, I have a 10 pack of just shucked Hibernate F3 available to a new winner as soon as they dry. I'll take the first 5 readers who quote this post and reply "I want in".

**** This excludes the previous 5 from the last quiz. ****

It will again be a quiz format, and as always, I score on the Amos' curve. It should be ready by tomorrow at 10 PM EDT.

I want in!
Whats an f3? I never ran one of those beforeeeee

I’ve got plenty of those F2s...so will stay out, but can’t wait for the contest.

As for Carlin I’m on the fence and can understand why some don’t enjoy him. But he has a soft spot in my heart as part of the 60s-70s counterculture and his part with the government/FCC and censorship.

I’m a sucker for Dick Cavett and The Smothers Brothers.
