I also saw the opossum and skunk meet up. The opossum backed away quick and the skunk never showedd it's ass, but I was thinking I might get some natural camoflage for my grow.

That was yesterday later in the evening.

Today the one skunk shows early - to beat the others to the food?

The main thing I need right now is smoke. That'll get sorted in a month and I have plenty to get through that but selection is down to my favorite three. I'll be tore up for the next section of my life and I'm good with that. I'm almost out of the Flashback and that's what I am chopping most of, the Dubstep and Blue Jack are my only variety plants this run, and the Tire Fire next batch with the to Flashback multi-clone pots. I'll get that sorted.

What I am thinking is that these can slide back in the closet except the regs waiting to be sexed. Inknow this tent can fit 9 5g pots, 8 is better with a corner for a low fan open but I fix that with a shelf and a short plant if needed.

Coinsidentally I have 7 plants I can put in 5g pots and flip tomorrow if I want - and I will soon. That'll get my flower bedroom back to all flower and I can easily fit the 10 little reg pots in the mom tent. These 7 fems are the variety I need.

Since I'm set for my cloned weed for a bit now I'm just keeping or culling moms.
The top left is the peanut butter Chem91 that may go away,
clockwise there's the two FB68 versions that I really only need one.
bottom is the righteous Chem91 clone,
and the small one is the Dirty Taxi that likely goes as soon as I get germination on the F2's.

If I am constantly hunting the seeds I'm never running the moms so it's preservation only. Which gets to the last three. These are definitely preservation. I am keeping all three and they will all catch pollen at some point. Since I selection of them I need to keep these happy.

Here's two links. Except for the FB68 which I bought the last of it's all out there. I'll have crosses with it, and this chuck with the Dirty Taxi was to cross a male to it so I have boys to put back on the FB68 and make lots. I have a good bit of the FB68 x DT, but those are my prized posessions to hunt through - might not let any go until I get mine if you know what I mean.

So Andy at Greenway has lots of stuff and is very generous. All old-school payments though, cach/check/money-order. I actually sent him a check and got my beans before the check cleared.

Dagga is the easiest, but you don't get that interaction with the breeder that get's me all the extra goodies I get now. But if it was not for getting Greenway seeds as freebies from here I wouldd never have known.

As far as the Flashback crosses, I need to run enough to try and associate a specific FB68 leaning trait in the females that *might* translate into a male that shows those traits passing on the FB68 dominant genes. So I run the FB68 x DT until I settle on a male type. Once I make male choices and get them growing I can let go of a lot of the spare beans.

Once I am ready to chuck pollen I should also have those 1968 plants cloned and still alive to take pollen. I want a big inbreeding orgy then I'm done. I should then have plenty of those beans to hand out - no charge.

When I get ready to chuck that pollen I'll be running a mess of the FB 68 fem beans that I just bought to see how many expressions I can get pollen on.

I think after that I'll just be growing my beans forever. Doing an increase when they get old and making more.

My goal is a FB68 reg bean. Might come from the three 1968 plants.

@1oldfart I wasn't being a dick. I'm just not a seed vendor and don't plan to be. I do have a seed vault though, and lots of beans. I also know that I can't grow them all before they lose viability. 2-3 times in the last few years I have cleaned out the old gear I know I won't get to and given it away. You can be on my list for the next batch LOL. I think after I am sure the beans I just made work there will be a lot of gear I know I won't run. Just no time and space.

On the bean front I will be able to give out some of the chuck crosses as soon as they dry. I have three mom strains. I crossed the Taxi to the two other moms and itself. I consider those breeding.

The F2's I'd feel bad about giving out because you can buy Dirty Taxi from JJ and that's unddercutting him.
The Chem91 was the peanut butter pheno that herms. I am hoping to find plants that don't but I can't give that out either
And the Flashback crosses are for future breeding.

All the rest are just the chuck. I want to keep some to try out, and keep more of some crosses than others, but the Flashback was my entire goal. I want something to put back onto a tentfull of Flashback girls then have a good chance of Flashback leaning regs.

I am glad I didn't toss the seeded plant soil outside, there was more than I thought and I need it. I got 4 fems potted, and have three Pink Floyd that sexed female out of 4.

Now that the closet is back to flower I'll be rearranging and getting tall girls in here. The clone project looks like a win. I Stripped all the lowers on them. The Tire Fire lost lower stuff and is still a shrub.

This has a few candidates for the closet. The Chem91, the Blue Jack City, and the tall 10g FB68 front right. She has spears now.

The two FB68 from clone will be done before the next full moon. The Dubstep you can barely see has this wierd crinkle to the fans.

As soon as I get the rest of the soil sifted I have three more to flip. The three up front darker green are the Purple Floyd fems. Lots of regs that need sexed but no room for so I may give them slightly larger pots. I have an empty tent though...

This one is "white tip". The other has a toupee shaped like a moustache, so the name will be like that, and they live under my house LOL. Never smelled them once. I have a hole I thought was chipmunk but they proved how fluffy they were when they squeezed through it. It's between that shed and the house so they feel really safe sneaking in and out.

The trail cam is hit and miss until I figure out how and where to put it. This is the best series so far, the opossum gets cornered by the screen porch when the skunk comes to eat. Based on time stamps it lasted about 5 minutes. Pic 2 is classic.

After sorting the seeds I had a lot of "maybes" that didn't make the cut so I'm doing a sprouted seed tea. Most of these were white pips but there are several sprouting tails. It's just a powdered sugar sifter that I can keep moist but has airflow. Tomorrow this will hit the blender then get mixed in a bucket with some freeze-dried coconut powder. Stir occasionallt for a few hours then strain it. the pulp goes in the worm bin.

Since I have sprouts on the trash seeds I killed the Taxi clone. She looked skinny and had poor roots This is the moms. Peanut Butter Chem91 top left might go away in favor of the legit cut lower right. The PB-Chem gets me super high but it's not the same. By the aloe is the 2 versions/genotypes of FB68. Tall and lighter, short and darker (original). The small ones are three 1968 and the lone PTK front and center that's just a reg to get flipped.

Finally got all my rood balls shook out and the soil amended. I got all the flippedd/flowering plants done and have enough left to slow-roll the 10 regs, maybe top them if they get too tall. This is the pre-planning stage but I went ahead and fired up the second veg tent. 6 Uzbek and 3 Paki. The PTK belongs in here but - OCD.

Flower is gonna take more than a bucket to water each time. The tall FB68 might be a little more lemony than the other. Chem91 back right, Blue Jack City up front.

Side-by-side on the FB68 clones is the same, taller/lighter, shorter/darker. More lime green. three FB68 in the back then up front is the Dubstep, Urban Poison and Tire Fire right to left.

These belong with the Urban Poison flip-wise. LGS on the rack, Helens Melons middle left and Toke a cola front left. The midle three are Purple Floyd and the right is the Pink Floyd.

The regs all happen to be landrace/heirloom types, and have zero hybrid vigor, which is why dropping them and the fem crosses at the same time was a little crowded, but now it's like two drops. If I had plannedd that intentionally I'd be the man. As it stand I'd rather be lucky than good.
None had a full cup of roots so they should be good in the 5qt pots for a few weeks minimum. I may set them all up as 4-tops early just so the limbs veg out a bit. The 1968 plants will stay in the smaller pots longer so just moved the PTK in here. This is now veg, the other just moms. Firing up the clone tent for some of the moms might be the next project.

So, my house has a crawl space that's actually walking height in the front, down to crawling at the back. It's on a hill. Anyway, the hole I saw the skunk go through is not anywhere that would be an issue structurally. I have the water heater and furnace/ductwork under there but most of it is pretty barren. A few brick pillars here and there.

Last night I startled the opossum and it went into the same hole. I also know I have 2 opossum based on size. They look identical to me otherwise but pretty sure that makes a mating pair of both - under my house.

I am waiting to hear back from the county extension agent for advice, but I think the main issue with them living there would be smell, and for now at least the skunk don't seem to want to ruin their new home. I know the skunk are right under my bed in the back bedroom corner because there's a faint odor, but it's enough to make the cat go apeshit.

Neither species hibernate. Winters here aren't too harsh but cold enough to make my crawl-space perfect. Springtime and lots of babies... of both species... That could be a mess. Or cool?

At some point I may get the nerve to go under my house and peek LOL

Actually the kids took most of my leftovers last trip. I refuse to hand out cash but if they can get some for the spare weed I have that's all good. Smoing the last of a few older strains then down to Taxi, Dog and a few nugs of Flashback. Plenty but not variety. The first Flashback clones will be done first and hit 7 weeks yesterday. They should be done by 9 weeks. Then I start rolling in it again.
