My wife would have loved that! We used to hike around and check out the trees and mosses. She loved rocks and geodes as well. She loved nature, God I miss that woman.

Ya its good for the soul every now n then to just get out to the outdoors and see what nature provides imo..
And ya even tho my ole lady aggravates the hell outta me alot times, She is my better half, and wood miss her if she was gone....

Since I stopped using pesticide and killing scary bugs I have noticed a marked up-tick in discovery channel shit in my yard. My favorite are the garden lizards, chameleons, whatever. This little guy protects my serrano peppers

Crayz thing is I was searching about different kinds of wasps to see what I have here. Then I found out that the solitary bright colored wasps are executioner wasps. I thought "how cool" - then went outside and saw one dragging a huge Brown Recluse to wherever it lives. That's a painted cinderblock wall, so it has some feet skills. Thing was too heavy to fly away with.
