Thinking out loud... In about 10 days I'll know if I drop a Chemdog immediately. The two Road Dog that are hanging are a multi chem cross from a guy that loves the chem high (SkunkVA/Lucky Dog) so I'm hopeful. Both plants looked and smelled the same and had a chem funk. I have the DeChempose from Covert going, but that's too far from harvest to factor into that decision. I have a few other things I want to run first but I can always make room for a small fem that is mainly intended for cloning. I want to get the Momma's sexed and up-potted, and the veg-closet plants cloned and flipped before I drop anything - I think.

The Savage Headband looks sick. I un-potted it this morning before lights out and put it in new soil that was dryer. The old soil went into outside garden just in case, and if I have to cull it I don't think I'll save anything for future inside use. No bad bugs visible so I'm thinking it's a wet-root issue and it might perk up - or not. The two DeChempose are drying down for a good soaking. The MAC1 cross I just don't know. Weird looking.

The flower tents are now separated by flip, which seems logical except for height considerations. I have what amounts to two HLG-240 in here but one was on a skinny-ass heat-sink I didn't like so I cut it in half. Still on one driver for both boards. I like the adjustability. All my drivers are remote.

This is my Terpy-T-bar light. Haven't noticed one shred of difference between one tent with twice the $$$ of lights and this one. Roughly the same wattage running in each.

I am liking the unique look of the Mac1 x Orgi thanks for posting H.A.F.

If anyone has heard of any special needs the MAC might have clue me in. It might just be a strain trait. Don't know if that's too much light, too little light, too little humidity, or something else. Still looks healthy, but the new leaves are showing the same trait. It is cool how the blades are stacked though ;)

I received a MAC1 cut in the mail and it didn't make it.
I have no other seed packs with the MAC1 as a participant. I think this cross was just an afterthought or a happenstance aside from the regular breeding plan. "Hey, I have a cut ready to grow, why not?" type of thing.
I haven't tried the MAC1 yet. Still a yeti to me.
I just know I grew out the Orgi from the same run and it had regular leaves and structure so I am guessing that this is leaning towards the MAC1
I have heard it is a finicky grower - this seems to fit the general description...

The Headband is looking a little better. Topped/cloned the two DeChempose - one ended up a 6 top, one a 4 top based on where a good node-spacing was. The MAC1 x Orgi is a fem so that's getting a new pot soon.

Plenty of room with the Momma's dropping like flies. Two more dudes gone, one that's probably a dude, and two with nothing yet. Just realized both tents have a CLHP at different stages of flower - I like that.

This room is getting brown now and starting to reek. My sniffer was on point last night (outdoor pollen makes that surprising) and there are some crazy terps going on. The Thunderhole smells like sweet barbeque. Not too smoky but it's there. The CLHP is Orange as all get out, for the first few seconds then it fades to dank/chicken. The Mountaintop Mint and Loud Lemon Sorbet are both pretty mild now but the Williams Wonder is loud and took a few tries to sort. It's like a beachfront hotel lobby, like the tropical chemical shit they use to clean the carpets and make it smell beachy - with a little of that "there's an indoor pool down the hall" smell.

Anyone know anything about mushrooms? I think there are truffles on my land but have no way to really confirm it. The setting: Old growth oak and assorted hardwood forest, sloped and well drained, but generally moist with an abundance of various shrooms popping when the time is right. The red arrow was the spot.
IMG_9941.JPG
Those are thorny ass wild blackberry bushes just starting to flower, I was making paths through them so I can harvest easier later. Pulling some honeysuckle and I found this. I have found them occasionally and tossed them in the worm bin, but never thought to take a pic.
IMG_9944.JPG
I thought it was bird eggs or something at first. The mycelium network comes from one "root" at the bottom and fans out from there. Is it a form of truffle?

A 100w light in a 3x3 set at 60w. Who knew? As I keep culling from losing males this seems much more manageable. I also need to be realistic about what to keep. The two Road Dogs that were revegging (just harvested moms) I shitcanned. I have a full pack left to sort through, and as similar as they are all I need to do is hope the other 9 beans aren't dudes. 2 plants of smoke should keep me from worrying about them for a bit. The Cream and Rock Island Rocket are the only re-vegges I kept. The Cream was a 5-pack reg. Might as well hang on to it until I try mom. The RIR was one I thought was male - long story short I ain't smoked it yet. The two monsters are the CLHP. The little one is the mom material but might lose clones when the time comes, and the big one is making me a beautiful sea of green one limb at a time. Maybe a month before they are ready to be taken at this rate. Slow and steady.

On a different note, living soil ideas moved outside. I got some crimson clover as a cover crop to spread in my lawn. I am mowing (mulch gathering) around it and letting it go to seed. Very hearty, but it's kind of sparse and flimsy for now, I think it needs a full patch to hold themselves up better.
IMG_9961.JPG
I watched this bee try to land on about a dozen flowers and they would all start tipping over and he's move.
IMG_9962.JPG
It is also pretty dominant. You want adaptability? It's about 6"-8" high uniformly in the yard. It grows in little foot high clover-shrubs out by itself, and when it finds competition like a lavender plant that's a foot taller it compensates. Anyway, when I do mow it my compost is gonna rock

Today is day two for the Grandpa's Stash. 12 days from chop and it is in the top shelf keeper rotation already. But the mom looked nothing like the clone or I would have remembered. Those leaves are definitely memorable.
IMG_9955.JPG
So now I need to run out the clone to see if it's as good, better or worse than the mom. Project after the CLHP SOG. And the Member Berry is also getting re-done since I have no clones. Both are fems though and I think Colin from Ethos is really gearing towards stability in his lines. I have other stuff of his to run too, but I can see having a stable of his stuff in the clone tent.

Eventually I see having my two flower tents as a "headstash tent" and a "find more headstash tent" even if the plants get moved around during the grows. A half and half split on the drops with room for flowering a known clone. But since I really like this shit I am thinking smaller drops more often. a reg 5-pack (or half pack) and a fem or two is real easy to baby for a few weeks then shift attention to the next set.

I think the cloning is the deciding factor. If I keep dropping 12-16 plants once a month that's a ton of clones to mess with = work.

So that about decides it. My next drop will be a 5-pack of Albany Piff from @High kev, a Crazy Hazy from Archive to keep them company for the long flower, and a Chem91 and ChemD S1 from CSI Humbold to restock the headstash and get something in the mom room.

Now I need a wild hair...

PICK YOUR OWN
And then the fucking power tripped off. Maybe a half hour total but now I'm waiting to let karma settle down. It was like as soon as I got excited about the plan working - getting half the momma's girls and being able to hunt for my favorite - karma said

Before the local power company updated the infrastructure in my area power
outages were a regular occurrence I had to have analog everything so when the power came back on all my timers, fans, heat etc never lost their memory/settings and turned on without me needing to reset them so glad those days are behind me

I took the two droopy-lettuce fan leaves off the Savage Headband and it looks a little better. I up-potted the MAC1 x Orgi and almost forgot to stick it back in veg.
IMG_9970.JPG
But it was easy to remember since room is at a premium for a bit. I only have 5 in the other tent so as stuff stretches I'll rearrange.
2 Skunks, 3 Mommas, a Blooper, and a CLHP. I flipped the two DeChempose and in 7 days they should be sexed and about twice the size.

The Lemon Tree from Heisen is number three for me. The first one was super lemon pledge and a great high, the second was bland and 'daytime smoke'. What my growing plan will eventually include is re-dropping mom's I've held for a bit and seeing if the next bean is better. For this one I'll at least know if it's the pheno I want, even though I don't have the original that I liked :)

Everything got Recharge at 1/2 tsp/g. The Savage Headband prompted it. If it doesn't turn the corner in two days it's gone. There's a difference between finicky and sickly looking. This morning the two top fans were sideways hiding from the light so I dialed it back a bit as well.
IMG_9992.JPG
Also tried being the cool guy and just direct planting the auto seeds without soaking them. Now I have to be patient since one popped. There's a pocket of seed starter soil around the bean that should be keeping it moist. The one that popped looks fine and dandy @Bobberr. I'm giving it two days as well, then I'm soaking a replacement for those two.
IMG_9993.JPG
The three Momma Moonshine are droopy from the up-pot so the recharge should be good timing there too. Everything else got the lower stuff pruned.
IMG_9996.JPG
I broke down and took most of the fans off the Willy Wonder. I should have really taken alternating limbs early since there was no stretch at all or just topped it. Wasn't sure what kind of crazy Sensi Seeds stock stuff I might be getting into. And I have a clone of it going. Less is more. Get it done quick, done well, and see if I want a lot. Now I just don't want it to mold. This is before (lower right)
