Front center, that back right one is a purple Chem. The PBC is finally growing outta it's mutation, I culled the other 2 PBC because they weren't growing out of it. I'll take a closer pic when I get home from work. All my Banana Cookies crosses have mutated but damn they always turn out phenomenal in the end.

Took after the purple punch in the leaves. Serration is similar to BBC.
All the BBC cross are fire because that BBC#9 cut is ridiculously perfect.

Took in a Punch Bubble. I had trained her to 4 colas. Was not a big yielder. The smoke was fine. I liked it better than the PP S1. 45g total. I have another one close behind that I left alone and looks like that one might yield a little more and will make a good central cola. Sticky and smells great, my dependents will be lovin it.

First time I rooted mailed cuts............they looked bad when I got them but that worked out good!

Rok roh......I'm guilty of this 2-3 seed peek shit yer railing on. It's my M.O. since I stopped the commercial thing/running rooms of clones. LOFL.

And yer right.....while the small 1-3 plant peeks don't tell the tale on the entire pack...it always solidifies my experience that you will always see (extreme) variety in the packs...especially in these non-worked lines today. Some will be good...some will be excellent...and some will just be lackluster crap. It's a crap shoot some of us take because I, for one, don;t have the space to pop entire packs and I am in this for variety...not one strain/not one cut to run to make $$$ from a pack. Variety means you take the good with the bad as well.

I don;t run full packs anymore because of the "WTF IS THIS SHIT?" aspect of it all when you put all of yer eggs into one basket and pop that entire, hyped up pack (or in the case of the old days...3-6 packs).....only to find that....um...it all kinda sucks...or it all sucks a huge one and isn't anything like was represented....but you don't find that shit out until you rode the hype train to the end...and there went 4 months of time/space/energy. Now you have a bunch pot you don't enjoy/can't be caught dead selling. (to put it mildly)

So I plant a few of each..... and while it doesn't tell the tale fully...it does let me know that if 3 of the plants from the pack suck...most of the rest of the pack likely won''t pass muster in my eyes either. Yeah...there could be one or two worthy's in the mix...but damn...for those of us growing for personal that leaves a bunch pot in house that just ain't that special we gotta smoke...or toss. It's happened too many times here to count...and that is why I am one of them humans you hate some days. If I didn't like your offering from a 3 plant look-see.... I probably won't waste my time on it again. Just as you think it sucks some of us don't pop entire packs...I think it sucks that I gotta look through a whole pack to find a decent plant.

However...with that said.... I've gotten FAR more tolerant in my old age....cus there was a day not too long ago when the herms and the nanners and shit folks pass along we gotta weed out nowadays (or miss and seed the entire crop...Thanks so much) were deal killers for someone's seed selling game...or a huge set back they had to fix before retaining ANY credo in the scene. Ask Swerve 'bout that...LOL.

but it's like grabbin pussy and shit is these days....what was once completely a no-no and would send ya packin on the clown bus is now admission to the clown bus... go figure.

But the difference....I hope you see.....is that I'm not gonna ride yer (yer meaning the seed guy...whoever that may be) ass here or elsewhere on the boards for it or make a big ta-do about it. They are seeds. No guarantees offered....just as there no guarantees I'll pop the entire pack or think it's as good as the seller said it was when I get to the end.

and while we're at this.......um.....just as a small look see won't tell the tale of the entire pack...neither do the glam shots that are used to sell those same seeds...

so we're all human....yup. And there's enough "hate" to go around. Me and my 2-3 plant takes...and the breeder growing a 100 and showing us one they found in that 100 as if they are all gonna be like that.

My take is different. I always did 1 to 3 seeds of a pack. I liked what i ran and all and i loved the variance but I am at a spot now where I would rather get 1 keeper...and go through 10 to find it.

I will not do more than 1 pack but i will pick the best of the pack.

It is not wrong to pop a seed out of a pack but within the pack are masterpiece theater plants. Pull up a chair and tell me of your greatness shit.

I was always happy with everything I grew...i still am unless it tastes too weird for me. but as i see the variance i have found some gems within a 6 pack o fems that standout for my grow style and conditions. I hunt for that mostly.

I mean i love the look of those 5 foot 6 topanga but they went in at 20 inches...that is some pile of STRETCH but one of those 6...wow its 39 inches tall...stacks colas like baseball bats and handles normal feed.

Winner winner chicken dinner. The others will get me high but that one topanga is my garden beast forever. if that ugly clone can keep alive..i will clone it forever.

Thats my take. And if you take it really far into the generational linage the variance is reduced but it is not nearly as exciting as getting that white grape purple punch. My teeth are stuck to my gums WTF...

I think A LOT of hermy shit is conditional...less than ideal variance is what really seperates the stability and its why that critical mass always grows in my tent but GG4 hermed so your bad !

But thats my take...in 5 years i will have more data and will have grown enough to maybe form a different opinion but...im pretty close.

And for the greenpoint regs...unless you REALLY like Stardawg you have to chase some packs to get a different taste. but when you do...

having said that i have a pack of jelly pie and dreamcatcher that have my eye..But heisen didnt make them...they are OLD

2 Purple punch s1 clones about to start stacking. I usually top my plants but I let these go natural with a little lst to expose the lowers. Should be pretty close to the end of stretch at 3+ weeks of flower. Both plants are at about the 4 foot mark which is big for my garden. 2 beautiful plants.

Popping seeds is like fishing. The more u throw out the better your chances . But there always gonna be that guy that comes out once a year and catches a lunker . Hope that is me because I don't have the room to pop more than 3 or 4 of the same strain. But I can def find a keeper . I popped one critical and I plan on having it for a long time .

I'm all about it. If people wanna pop 1 seed from 50 packs go ahead but dont think it's a solid representation of the lineage and go off bad nothing the whole pack cause you got a couple mediocre plants. Just my 2 cents
