Here was my latest project, based on the small area of good sunlight I have (tall trees).

Basically 1x6 deck boards in a rectangle, and some scrap holding t together. Has about 6" of "raised bed mix". Seems to have a lot of peat. . So the tomatoes are in leftover weed dirt, but when the roots grow through the pot there's something to get started in.
The overhead support cable has the 4x4 post cemented in, probably use it for another planter heading to the right of that. I have the tomatoes beside it that need some kind of permanent home, and these

Been waiting on a verdict for the babies before I posted the next update. Beautiful new leaves above the crispy-dead ones.
For any of you Canadians, Don Cherry would call that one "Skate save, and a beauty!"

The veg-tent tally remains 2 fems (BHP and G13G) the Hippie runt, and Covid 1, 2, & 3IMG_7210.JPG
Now that I have that sorted and am pretty sure it was bad pH water and not the soil or other factor, I'm getting a drop ready. Still debating on which pack of @J.James fire to drop, but it will be accompanied by at least one fem (dinoberry-bites by eso)

The Hippie Cripplers are beautiful. Nice even internodal spacing top to bottom. This strain would probably rock a scrog.
Haven't done any pruning yet. Because of the stretch I'm leaning towards flipping the runt sooner rather than later. Don't know the sex yet so might as well.

The G13HP are plumping up nice, and the DCP I haven't even checked trichomes on lately. still lots of new yellow/green pistils. They aren't close to white. Very colorful plant.

I bought a few packs from CLG with my gubmint check (return of stolen funds) to stimulate my seedbank :)
I was overwhelmed with the "membership has its privileges" generosity of go-withs I got from @J.James

Now I have to decide what to run...
The 4th Gear is out. I still have some to smoke ;) This was a pack I bought - wanted to make sure I had a spare pack of those.
The Chemberry Crippler will also wait just because I have the Hippie Cripplers going now.

The debate is between the Sacred Lotus which is a known entity, and family strains that are a complete mystery. Any ideas?

That's the thing she is 2 weeks into flip , it's ok just an experiment lol
The Hydra Hobbit and White Grape I just chopped got re-potted at 3-4 weeks in flower. I could see how much they were stretching/drinking and said screw it. If you wait until the pot is dryish you can just tap around the sides and it should pop right out.

If it works for u no prob , I might try it . Just didn't like the idea of it changing pace to start roots while it's concentrating on bud development.

The roots never stop growing, that's how a pot gets root-bound. If you gently ease it into new soil and water it in there's really no 'recovery' time for an established plant. If you break up the root system (which generates more new root growth) it will have a few days of not drinking as much.

I always break down the pots after harvest to see what the roots did. On pots that I left intact at repot, there was still a defined pot shape from the smaller pot, but the roots had grown into the new soil. There was no root-circle at the bottom. On the ones I broke up it was a whole new big-pot root-ball. Both grew plants fine - the ones that _ 'damaged' the roots on drank better in general.

All I do now is hold the root-pot-ball thing and open the bottom like flower petals. Still keeping most of the root-ball in tact, but getting the root circle at the bottom broken up. I also dust the new soil with rooting enhancer at repot.
