That is just loose seed-starter soil. The cup "plug" was what I meant. If I put it upside down the leaves would be in the dirt...

Flipping them over works great for taking clones. I don't like them for planting seed. The seeds get twisted and shit when they sprout.
I normally soak seeds for a few hrs then stick them right in Pro-Mix.
It's ok to let them split open, but you stand a chance of something bad happening to your root whenever you are trying to stick it in her hole. lol

Just cause they are growing out doesn’t mean they have filled the cups yet, they could still have plenary of room

I'm putting mine into 2 gal bags today. Up potted my GPS plants last night and they were packed pretty tight already. They are 4 days ahead of the comp plants and should have been transplanted a couple days ago.

Just so we all know 14 weeks from the March 24th is July 24th. Given 10 weeks to flower, it would mean they need to be flipped by the 24th of April?. @Heisenbeans is this the schedule or did you have a end date in mind?
