i have a jar with something in it that has a sour smell to itgoing to wait another week before i try it out kinda hope it turns up when being smoked! For the record, the Blue Jack City is awesome. So far each plant had a different profile but both have potency and a feel-good high. Strong sharp blue cheese smell as a base for both but the first had blueberry, this one has smoked chicken. I'll be stocking up on those at a minimum when I feel like I need to place another order from Greenway. I have no Purple Floyd left if those three turn out great. I still have lots of his stuff to run alongside mine. Oh and everyone elses gear I already had.
I gave away a bunch of beans and still have about 20 packs of 707 Seedbank regs to try. At one pack a month that's almost 2 years growing just 707. That's not counting the fact that one was a 100-pack. I gave some of those away and got more bulk 707 stuff back LOL
So if I find something I like best to get more beans and count on possible low germ rate down the road. By the time I run out of the few beans I have buying more might not be an option.
@H.A.F. thanks for the reminder on the seed banks! The Blue Jack City is amazing but weird. It seems dense or oily or something. Ground up it has a harder feel to it, and it's almost impossible to do a one-hitter. It just keeps burning.
The effect is you get really deep hits trying to get it done - then you're done
I mention this because anyone that wants it can buy beans of it. He gets his cut still if you buy from Dagga and you don't want to put cash/check/money-order in the mail, but the strain descriptions on his site are best. So far everything I've grown from him is top notch smoke with unique smells and flavors.

I think it would be worth the extra effort (no debit card) to do the order from Andy instead of from the seedbank. He has sent me loads of stuff that's un-tested and freebie retail packs he thought I'd like. You'll get freebies from a seedbank, but not the "well, if you bought this one you will probably like this - and try this other one too..."@H.A.F. thanks for the reminder on the seed banks!

you have been busy the wild life did'nt help move that stuff? 5cnSo it's 3am. This is being retired. I worked my ass off until the back said stop. I did too much and called it. Dinner, motrin, and a double dose of RSO and I went to bed early. But now I'm awake so no sense pretending I need to sleep because of the time.
I got my garden almost ready to cover crop for winter, and I have rain due in a few days. All the pepper and tomato plants got cut up and stuffed in the little cage by the bolder. I gave up on some square footage that's just got too much tree root and am using the raised beds to gain a little back. After the first few light frosts (no icy ones yet) I still have all the volunteer herbs and marigolds growing. Some of the pepper pots have their cover crop of herbs or flowers still going.

Last fall I chipped up all the fruitwood I had chopped then let it age a year. I shoveled it into buckets for measurement so I could make each bed the same. The backbreaker was moving the 4x4 bed. It still has some soil in it I will put into the other beds over the wood, then it gets a few buckets of wood and the wagon of soil I took out of it. The roots under it were all small ones, but it was like krazy-glued velcro getting it up. I'll be building the soil inside the fence over the winter, but then I plan to have all my plants in pots next year. I'll probably shovel up soil to fill pots in spring then re-cover crop what's left.
