It's called a Uni-Seal. I used 1/2" PVC, and tied it all in to my floor drain.

The size of the hole you cut is very important. It uses pressure to make the seal. It's a tight fit for both the pipe and whatever you put it in. I use them everywhere. Tubs, buckets. They came in handy for hydro.

I've had a good freeze, and some snow. Been warmer lately, so I went out and got some strawberries.
I cleaned them up, and then gave them a good wash. I'm going to grow them inside this winter. They are on their third year.

Strawberries here are damn near invasive. Can’t hardly kill them in your yard or garden beds.

On edit, Certain varieties are. Suspect others not so much.

Thanks I forget what kind of strawberries they are I planted them a couple years ago I only planted six and they took over the whole garden I had set aside for them.
I'm not sure when they will bear fruit I would think fairly soon. this past year the strawberries off of them weren't very tart they were starting to be more sweet.
I washed them for bugs or eggs mainly. Like I said we've had a couple good freezes so the bugs are dead but the eggs are still there, hopefully this got a lot of them.

I literally tried to clean them up as much as I could.
I'm actually breaking one of my rules, and that is bringing in plants from outdoors into my grow cave. I got rid of everything I picked off and was quick to get them washed down. With the freeze killing off the bugs, the wash and close inspection hopefully got rid of the eggs.

The week in review (short edition)

Purple Urkle clones got flipped to 10/14 two days ago:


I split up the iL8 I had crammed in one 2x4 and now it is two iL4's in two 2x4's. I also put dc meters and dimmers on them:


Here is a clone I forgot about and found. Too bad it's a strain I don't want to keep:


Another plant I forgot about. It almost made it into December Photo of the Month:


That top off of the OOP I cloned because everyone else was doing it. Yes, I forgot about this also, but it looks like it did fine:


I set up a garden in the garage for lettuce and stuff: In the tents I am doing tomatoes and peppers,

Got the strawberries and lettuce set up. I'm going to scrog the strawberries, and kratky the lettuce. The strawberries are in a flood/drain.
