BE THE BALL
Anyone else on here still waiting on their Black Friday order? I’m sure it’s just gotten slowed down in the mail somewhere, just curious if I’m the only one.
Today was the first eligible day of the Heinz Ketchup anticipation song followed by the peepee dance forcing me to make the 140 paces to the mail box, check for it, find nothing, and then 140 paces back. The fact that is was raining....priceless.

Tracking= worth the 2 bucks extra

Oh wow interesting. You said you think it’s the cold, how cold it is?
In the room its not bad at all. My temp guave says i usually hit a high of 88 during lights on which is normal to have and want. Its just outside its much colder and i cant open the doors up and let it air out bringing in CO2. No telling how low my co2 is. Was told by titan that adding co2 can shorten flower times by a week to 2 weeks depending on strain.
So i was thinking with it being low it will prolong flower time.

I do not have an air exchange with the outside. I flower at night to keep temps down. In the summer at night time the humidity routinely hits 90% so the buds will mold like a bitch. My dehumidifiers cannot keep up with that much moisture. Plus their is a lot of hemp pollen in the air.
In the winter it gets down into the teens here all the time and even to 0 on occasion or below. So no air exchange on that even though the humidity is much lower.
We have huge swings in temps and humidity here in the winter. It couod be 60 one day and 0 the next.

Its just easier having a sealed room thats insulated. Just need some co2.

Id like to try flood and drain. It seems fairly simple and i have bricks of coco coir that i have had for a long time but never have used.

Every time i grow in dirt i have pests, diseases from the soil and ph starts going out of whack after a while. Thats growing inside. Outside in my dirt in the greenhouse i have none of that. Just have to worry about ants, root aphids and termites. Mainly termites.

In my rdwc i have problems with the roots getting so big they fill the buckets up slowing the water flow down and my top off tank will fill the rez tank up even more.
Ive had pumps fail and air pumps but i keep spares.
I have ph auto dossiers to keep ph stable. If ph is being used when i check on it i flip a valve and ump the water and mix up new. Its insurance when im away.

Have you tried mega in that system? It doesnt mix well like jacks or masterblend for me.

Lol. Sounds like we’re neighbors. I have the same problems, although I’ve figured out the fix to most of them. Just keep on keeping on brother!

Exactly why I run sealed room & co2 in the winter, but be aware there is still high humidity that needs tending too during mid-late flower if you are really pushing them plants transpire heavily when 85deg and 90% humidity is common in my room if no dehumidifier is running..

90 percent humidity and 85 degrees is a death sentence. Plants wont drink enough at that high.
They will drink more with lower humidity and seem to be alot happier

I use roots organic and have had nothing but killer plants in it with no pest. Fox farm is full of all kinds of bullshit.
Now when I use to run in a not so sealed environment I would get all kinds of weird ass bugs coming in. Ever since I went to 100 percent sealed I have no bug issues. One think I would always get in dwc was silverfish and drain flys. Even in a sealed room somehow the drain flys always made it in. I actually have less bugs in soil now than I did with hydro. I dealt with thrips though but there retarded easy to get rid of.

Only thing i have had in rdwc is thrips. Was easy to get rid of with the right chemical. Otherwise they can be a bloodsucking pain lol

I always heard that by the ocean you dont have insects like we do here. Its pretty swampy in areas here.

Not sure what silverfish or drainflys are? I catch critters in my sticky traps though when i open my doors to let air in.

I had never seen spidermites before until i bought some soil and used it inside. On outside plants the humidity and rain kills em here so we dont have any issues with them. I havent seen any mites since switching to rdwc.

I dread the day if I ever get mites. Never had em. Thrips suck but Monterey knocks em out fast and they gone. PM is the worse shit on the planet and almost impossible to get rid of. I beat it and that was and will be the last time I ever deal with that fuckery.
