Preventative spraying with EM right before lights out is helpful. I don't have any issues with my grows and I do very little. Very helpful for lazy people like myself. The more work you put in in the front end, the better off you are later.

Sanitize with chlorine dioxide. You can find it on ETSY. The woman I order from is in Louisiana and she usually ships the same day.
