I would advise new growers to start counting from pistils, my reasoning . The most common mistakes of cherry growers is over nuting , overwatering and harvesting too soon , with this method of starting the clock at formed pistils you buy the plant time , ps buy a loupe and harvest at 20% or so Amber and not most breeder claims. Some are spot on others how can I say ,, just aren't.
I use their recommendations as a base. From there, it's all up to the "eye" and "nose" to determine when the flowers are done.

So does this mean the crosses from the weeding cake will be a little Finicky? I grow in super soil that I’ve been tweaking over the years and it does pretty good for me
Well I am growing a Cube X WC JBeezy cut and it's my first dance with WC , some observations. I didn't top and flipped it around 16 inches tall and was a nice stacker not too gangly. I grow in soil , basic peat Vlite Myrrochiuum however u spell it , Reg nutrient regimen , stretched like Bridgette Nielson almost 3x stretch and turned into a real vertical growing plant , not a lot of branching post flip, cal mag whore in flower loves it, give normal amounts and deficiency spots, lots of small tight bud clusters. My take away multi top and really keep an eye on Cal/mag requirements . Took Potasium and Phosphorus like a seasoned bar slut. I'll snap some pics tonight and put in my journal. End impression like the plant and next WC X I will apply lessons learned .
