What are you shooting with a 22 ?
Yup, just screwing around. Because it's shaped like a diamond I could see both points of the target around the stake. I can see the steel spin around when I hit. I took one shot "through" the stake and saw it wiggle and the steel spin.

Not a far shot or anything, and hitting the stake wasn't hard if you can hit the target - both looked about the same size relatively. Just cool that it hit center instead of just taking out a chunk from the side.

That is crazy i would have figured would have broke the stake in half. I still have my first 22. A Marlin short saddle gun with a blonde stock. Single shot my dad said he bought me that one to appreciate the value of a shot. That gun is very close to 50 years old now and very accurate.

I work IT. Apparently we had a coming to God event this evening. I'd hate to be the poor schmuck that was responsible for this fuck up!

....snip... "our reputation is at state"... suppose they are right your reputation could be lying in state, but I dont think thats whats meant...I had a tendancy to focus a little too much attention on those kind of typos.

I'm a good shot, but that was dumb luck that it left some on both sides. I think 9mm would have just demolished it if I could hit it. When I saw the stake wiggle and looked at it I put the gun up for the night and grabbed the camera. Can't top it so everything after would be a disappointment :)

Pull out the old Richmond Rifle and see what a .59 caliber minie ball would do to that stake lol.

Seriously crazy day yesterday...... started at 5:30 aM.....finally ended it all at about 8PM. Plumber got the sewer side in and got stated on the well/water feeds. Had to reinforce the floor in the bathroom in a few spots (still have a bit more to do) where they cut through the subfloor and missed the stud so the plywood was floatin in mid air. Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi.....it's always somethin'. Got the floor down temporarily...gonna put in all new board cus of the swiss cheese effect....but the tile guy is comin today and needs the floorspace to do his thing.

Poor weed grow has taken a backseat. Kinda cool in there...so we will see how it all goes. Don't have the time to worry about it....just been too busy trying to keep up with all of the remodeling fun. I did peek in there last night and can see buds starting to form up a bit. Hopefully shit will mellow out here soon so I can be a bit more attentive....LOL...yeah, right.

Is that a varmint round beside the varmint round LOL
We don’t have elephants but we have some pretty big game. Last one is a 338 edge most accurate is the 2nd from left 6mm Br.

One of the rounds I pictured is an elephant killer and the other is a 338 lapua magnum.

Been on a 6.5 cm kick lately, got a bolt gun, just picked up a semi auto 6.5. Fun stuff, easy shooting round.

Still end up going back to 300 win mag if I was in a hurry to grab a rifle, seems like I gravitate to that, its what I know best though. Shot tens of thousands of them.

I have to laugh at these guys shooting large caliber cartridges out of revolvers. Always makes me laugh. A guy can shoot thousands of 9mm in a day but only like six 500 s&w lol
I'm partial to my 38 with a nice light wadcutter charge, easy on the wrists and hands, plenty accurate to get the job done. I never understood wasting the powder charge to blast a heavy load from a 4" barrel.....

I was reading a clip in the news the other day that said they have successfully hit a target with a sniper rifle at 3 miles. I can't even wrap my head around that distance. I wonder how much drop they had to figure on. Amazing.
