Took the final/irreversible leap and tore out the bathtub and floor last night in our only bathroom. Plumber is coming this AM....gonna be a complete bomb out of the entire system...new PEX...new 50 gal hot water heater...new house filter to catch sediment...new well pressure switch.....yaddayaddayadda........ It's an incredibly small footprint of a system.....would fit in an 8 x 8 square and everythnig backs up to each other....but it's never been done right. I first thought the pvc pipe abortion under the sink/all over the house was a re-do by the llast...clueless...20-something who owned the place for 4 years and did a buncha gearhead/gankey shit everywhere but I';m thinking now that the poor sucker got to re-do a buncha of this system and it must have been a real mindfuck after seeing the old toilet feed laying on the dirt under the floor....I'm thinking now that the remaining pvc has been here for 40 YEARS.....since the place was built. It's amazing something hasn't burst/gone to Hell.
At least I don't have to go to "work" like you guys above are talking about......LOL. I just do all of this shit for free. Heehee......but I know how much I'm saving by doing so/by doing a bunch of stuff myself. Shit...i could snort coke all day for what the "pros" charge...LOL....although some dudes are good guys and give you deals....like @Jesselikes2Grow. I could only snort 2/3 of the day with him on board... heehee.... fuckin old people. One of these days I'll get all of this shit done.....hahahaha....sure thing. You guys with houses (who give a fuck) know what I'm sayin'..... holy shit is it ever easy to spendo the jacko doin this shit. My bathroom is pretty small...I can only imagine doing a larger $pace or multiple bath$.....fuck me. BOOM. Gonna be nice though.... yup. A real shower with a rain head will be a treat. As it is now...you bes' be pretty quick and Bob forbid someone turns on the kitchen faucet while yer doin yer thing. YIKES.
Still gotta down the system and take out the shower diverter/old hot water heater and some other shit before Plumber guy shows....but paved the way well...and hopefully saved myself some $$$$ by tearing things out and making it plumber-ready from the get go. I coulda plumbed this....but I'm at the point where peelin off Bens and letting someione else be frustrated is more fun. It's only money!

Going back to the drawing board going to take the strips off my cob light and add them one each to my strip lights not getting enough juice out of them at the current I'm running 25 in came out to 750 on the light meter I'm thinking one strip added to each fixture should get me up into the 9 to 1000 range we shall see

And speaking of....i am going to get some pex connections and pieces of pipe and practice making that go together. Any more leaks and i pay myself to fix it. PEX makes it easier than trying to solder in a wall
And i am putting shutoffs on everything. Why the hell do they build a house without shutoffs. There is an upgrade you will be happy you made later.

My dog is funny. She has a rubber chicken and when she goes outside to chase squirrels she is pissed she cant catch one and rip it to pieces....so she attacks the rubber chicken with extreme prejudice.

High as fuck and sipping on Sugarlands shine, and I made a cool semi-unintentional trick shot.
Burning limbs, and plinking in between while waiting on it to burn down. I set out an onion that sprouted on me and put a stake in the ground so I didn't walk on it. I noticed that I kept leaning a little to avoid it and hit the target. Little 2" steel from Walmart at about 15yds, and the onion is about half that.
