I burn all my stems and fans. The sugar leaves i keeo ans make hash out of and then i toss the mess into a low spot i have in the yard to decay in.

so i left a small piece of that Mac1 out so i could taste it today instead of waiting a week cause how couldnt i lol
so the bud smells of soury citrus earth but when burned it has a hashy taste on the inhale and a earthy flavor on the exhale three bong rips and was soild but i aint got shit to do today so i finished it of course
the rest will dry slower and jarred a short time for a real taste

There’s a few growers in one of my local MMJ grow groups on the book, that intentionally do this to their buds by letting it get close to their LEDs. They call it “light bleaching” or “hash tips”
they swear up and down that the white tips are more potent than the rest of the bud. Doesn’t make sense to me but I’ve also never really looked into it. What really throws me off is that one of the proponents of it is actually a really good breeder, he’s got an F3 of Thug Pugs PBB that is insane, he usually knows his shit.
i know your said it wasn’t light causing it in your case, so curious to see if anyone knows what it is.

Leaf mold is beneficial for your compost. Green leaves buried in compost will heat the pile up. People heat their green houses with a compost technique used this way.

This is heisenbeans genetics thread. For anything related to heisenbeans genetics. Maybe make a thread for your testers and put them there?
I am now up to 8 Heisen packs in my collection (well, 6, and 2 ordered, paid, and awaiting shipping). I have caught some subtle hints he has dropped about the TK, so I made sure to pick up a Rum Runner, as well as a Purple Crunch, to go along with my Purple Cake, Topanga Canyon S1, Purple Crash, Punch Bubble, Purple Aliens, and Ice Cream Punch.

I dont know which I am going to run first. Got some autos started right now in my main 3x3 tent, but have a 2nd, 4x2 tent that I picked up off of Craigslist new for $20, that as soon as I can get a light for it, I will start some HB seeds. My gut it to lean to one of 3, either the Rum Runner, Purple Crunch, or Ice Cream Punch. I want to just run them all lmao.

What do you think of the smell of the Mac 1 while curing. My smell and taste buds are not the best but i can smell her pretty good when flowering it almost like what you are describing sweet citrusy candy type smell. But after the chop and cure she smells almost like rotting fruit. Probably just my old sniffer is not right.lol
