And what are you averaging for yield per pot?

Edit: I ask since I was considering switching down to flowering in 1 gal for a couple runs to add some different flavors into my stash
With coco Id get an ounce roughly from seed, more with the right clone. Thats hand water, on drip you can get ounces off 1 gal pot.

In soil probably 3/4 ounce per pot, though I havent yeilded soil in 1 gallon in years, like a decade lol.

That’s pretty solid for such a small amount of medium and foot print. I’m going to give the smaller plants a go with higher numbers. See how it goes I usually grow big plants. But I’m trying to burn through some seeds of all flavors I’ve got lol

Thats why I cracked into the 1 gallon pots for coco. Wanted to go through more seeds. Flip them at like two weeks veg, then take one clone and let it roll.

From out in the greenhouse.

Got a couple hundred plants going. Some almost finished some halfway their and some a long way from finishing.
The plants from seed is way bigger. I originally planted nothing but seed that I had put in a glass jar soaking in water and all had tails. Planted them and the next day got a massive rainstorm that flooded the green house under water.
Only had 8 or so that survived took forever to come up. Thought all was lost so I took shit loads of clones from GG4, Adub, wedding cake etc.

Here is a couple of pics I took. Notice the size difference of seed plants vs clones. This is why I planted seed to start with. Seed plants are around 10' tall while clones are 3 foot tall. This was done in last week of July.

You would think with it being pretty well tight from bugs that their would be no problems with worms. Guess again.

Yesterday while watering saw some buds looking funny. Had what looked like some dirt on em. Thought oh shit!! Looked in the bud and their was a bud worm. Looked the plant over and found half a dozen more. Next plant same thing and then the next.

They are not real big yet but small and chowing down.

Those bigger plants you see where all topped a few times as well when they were knee high back in late August.

Back in the day using some old Mexican schwag seeds I would grow some monsters. But wouldnt be done until early December. The stalks would be as big as your leg with branches 8-10 foot long. They snapped a lot when it got some wind on em or bud weight.
It was considerably better than what we got from the Mexicans. I still kept a bunch of those seeds. Got em someplace though. Always very fruity smelling bud.

Thanks for that seed vs clone visual. I've also noticed big differences in stem and branch girth. Plus the seed plants tend to stink up in veg sooner/more than a clone in my experience so far which is relatively limited.

Bud worms have been absolutely worst this yr than I have ever seen them. Even my guerrilla spots that are at least a mile away from any houses/house lights or street lights are eat up with worms. Closer to light sources are 10 times worse.
