@Joebud

With reps like these, who needs enemies?
no shit ,still guard their product/profits, from something that is less harmfull ,they are not secure with their owne product, to stand up aginst cannabis. it's hell to get away from nicotine, a problem i never had with smokeing cannabis , a little over six years ago i quit (straight up hell) smoking cigs. they don't need my money. ,they are 1 of 2 or more political action commities, hell even the state police ask for money for their PAC's ,and want to control anything that threatens ( arrest,bust, profits ),even by a few percentage points!

I got a letter from them about being part of a Ketamine therapy trial group. I'm reluctant being part of an Uncle Sam study group and I have yet to dip into psychedelics or anything else for that matter (gateway drug my ass)
I've done a therapeutic course of ketamine and I've been the busy of another person who did it.

It was an interesting experience but there is no enlightenment there. Does it help people rewire themselves? Maybe. Does it help with depression? I'm my car, only temporarily. I cannot speak to PTSD because I'm not sure I have it. Can it be a useful tool? Sure! Within limits. It isn't going to do anything by itself; the patient still has to do the work. Can it open new horizons and make doing that work maybe a bit easier or more approachable? Yes!

It can be a crutch or a tool; but like a big screwdriver, it's not fixing your car by itself.

I hope that helps and I think you have every right to consider carefully whether it's for you.

Can you describe what course you took? Did you complete 6 sessions 2 per week for 3 weeks? Also did you ever ask about maintenance shots? All I know is that after my very first session I felt immediate relief. If you think of depression as a weighted blanket. Ketamine takes the blanket off of you. Thanks for reminding me though because I feel the need for another maintenance shot. The VA will allow me to be on the infusions for quite awhile. Maybe even for the rest of my life...I am a guinea pig though because no one knows the long-term efficiency or what it will do to the human body for long term non-recreational use. Recreational use though is known to cause severe bladder issues. It also makes a difference in how you consume the ketamine the infusions are the gold standard esketamine nasal spray isn't very good because they don't know how much of the drug goes directly into your system unlike infusions I receive 52mgs over the course of 45 minutes. It's a very enjoyable experience if you close your eyes the entire time and listen to some trippy music (I've found Tools new album to go along great with my infusions)

Oh yes, I did the whole course of treatment; I got an injection in each arm, about 15 minutes apart. Worked up to the max dosage, 200mg. I was a mess after each treatment; nauseous in spite of the anti nausea drugs, wasted, couldn't focus, think, FORGET driving lol, it was not a pleasant experience.

No, I didn't feel like it really addressed my depression. Yes, I did maintenance sessions for awhile but stopped because it didn't help and it did make me feel sick. Not fun.

My depression has always been extremely drug resistant. Maybe I'm an outlier.

I think people who want to use it should use it in a therapeutic setting so they get good drugs and good care.
