Let me ask you this, out of necessity, or whatever reason, you take the McDonalds job,
and let's say, you are hired as a "maintenance technician", Start at $3.00 over minimum wage.
Sweet! Right?
Here's a little Saccharin booster for a more effective destruction to come.
You get "group" healthcare/Dental/eye etc with a 500.00 and up co pay.
Future opportunity for higher positions/ placement/rubbing elbows with "upper levels" staff.
A better life!
All you got to do is make it through the 60 or 90 day trial/probation period.
Easy peasy!
Right???
I will continue to the meat of the difference with unions later,
you wear me out sometimes @HAF.
But I like you're "10th man" way of coming at a question or statement.
You remind me of me, when I was your age.
5 or 6 years is a lot in your world past the age of 55.
I need a nap,
but time to run "security" for the "strippers" out tonight.
do'nt stress out too much or over work yourself, watch your 6@ NoWaistedSpace the only stripper that does'nt bother me is sammie , to be 35 years younger again

I didn't realize when I posted the "Bullshit Jobs" paper, it would cause such emotions to surface in others, including myself.
Definitely different beliefs and opinions.
A perfect example of living in different environments and type of interactions in our everyday lives, resulting who we really are.
Like growing up in a "rural" farm setting compared to urban areas.
Suburbs are just suburbs. lol

The results of how we feel about a certain topic, comes from the influence coming from others and/or your personal experience.
We're all just a "product of consequence". lol
Enough about the BS.

Strippers?
I was talking about those folks that "try" to sneak around, when least expected and "strip" your favorite ladies. lol
The trick is never let anyone know whether your awake or asleep.
That's about the only way to increase the odds.
You can't stay up 24/7.
I also take notice of strange vehicles on our road.
And who manages to pay me a visit this time of year that's not a normal contact.
Then you got a more random group in these parts.
They're the ones you got to look out for.

Around here they're called rippers. They hope the cops find them first...

I live so far out in the sticks, seldom do you see a sheriff's vehicle around here. I live at the head of a dead-end road, so I know every car and truck that lives on our rd. It's so quiet at night, you can hear any approaching vehicles for miles off.
It's getting close to mating time for the skunks.
When you start seeing numerous skunks getting killed crossing the roads, you know harvest time is near. lol
Funny how the timing works out like that.

Yep! You hear something?
Pow! Who's there? lol

I live on a small hill at the head of the road.
So far, I haven't heard of anyone getting ripped off out here yet.
I'd say the choppers found a bunch not too far from here in the National Forest.
I could hear them flying back and forth for a week.

My road ends at the base of these pointy peaks...about @ cloud line in the pic. 1.5 mile dead end gravel road. 1000 ft rise. We are 1/2 way up.

I bought signs that look like official BLM/National Park/etc signs. (you know...those brown ones) to try to stop so many lookie-loos from thinking that you can access the National Forest (or camp) at the end of the road. Nope. Signs say "No forest Access. No hunting No fishing No camping"

The signs cut traffic in 1/2....especially those BIG fuckin house-like rigs folks pull behind em and are stupid enough to drag up a road like this....a road that has nowhere of note to turn around. I've seen em go up...and not come down for 45 minutes. Fun, fun, fun! So it's not only a "Stay the fuck away, ya clown" thing...it's Public Service announcement kinda thing. LOL.

Sheriff response times are 20+ minutes out here...so yup...folks are armed to the hilt.
