This is why I have started saving the glove-hash. The good stuff stays pliable and you can roll it into a snake, and add it to the strain it came from once it cures. Today is Puna Lites test day and it is pretty nice. This ain't a smoke report though. La Machine! The little rolling rig is perfect for hashing a joint. You can half-pack the tray, line it up perfect, then top it with the rest.

Anyone trying them, I have a little stiff bristle brush that replaced the wooden pick for cleaning out the excess before putting the paper down.
Packing these full and using your fingers to feel the density/stickiness to determine how tightly to pack it before closing is one trick. Then I partially close the lid just so it completely forms the roll, and there's an obvoius crease in the weed, and the excess fluffed out past that. With it opened back up just enough to see that crease, I turn it upside down over a tray and just brush it clean. Sometimes there's a little excess on the ends past the paper but that won't matter.

So the review on the rolling machines is A+ - especially if you have old fingers. It's cheaper than packing cones even if you roll your own cones. No tips needed.

never got to keep the old rollers, i had at one time or the other,all left with someone at one time or the other, those people no longer know where i live.

That's the thing about growing a lot of plants. I have a pot for every one of those tins of weed I posted a pic of that I still haven't messed with other than keeping them moist. I also have some 8g totes full of sifted and sorted stuff ready to put back together.

i've broken pins off the shafts on the average roller, my smoke shop knowes who u are , Big brand name!

I rolled the Polecat '91 across the 1/2" grid and there was 20g from the two plants that was tops. I usually smoke any of the stuff that falls through pre-cure, but because they were small plants overall there was another ounce under the grid. I picked out a about a quarterbag to play with, and everything is getting broken up snmall by hand now before hitting the grinder. I found two beans before, grinding. Oddly enough, I found two more in the grinder, still in perfect shape. The older KOZO grinders have larger holes than normal for stuff to fall through, and a perfect spacing between baldes.

If you go slowon the first 1/4 twist so any beans between blades slide between the teeth into a slot you can give it a few twists then tap it on the counter, a few more, tap it. Always in the same direction. If you go back and there's a bean in there you can hear it crack, and you can see it when you dump the top stuff.

Then I open it and tap out anything still above the holes. Never found a seed there except the aforementioned chewed coconuts, but if your rH is right and the green-ish leaves still pliable they stay up top. Most of what doesn't tap through is better for dry sift. Anyway, unless you have coconuts that won't fit through the holes it doesn't damage them.

The smells on the polecat were the other reason I started typing. When you forst get the nose in there it's skunk-cabbage. A little sharp/acrid etc. but not the musky animal skunk. What is trippy is that if you stay in there it turns into wrigleys spearmint gum. Whatever terp combo is going on I think its got that sweet-skunk background.

But in the jar it's just the skunk-cabbage. The other stuff only comes out when it's busted up

I am thinking that my "other" stuff in the chuck is gonna start by breeder. Dominion and Irie will represent. Obviously CLG. But I think that starting by ELIMINATING breders will make it easier. Then sort by strain LOL

Instead of just sorting by size, I went by plant location. Since some of the little stuff at the top is of a different quality than some larger stuff at the bottom, all the stuff in the ...shape... is the B-grade. The lower left is the top broken down. So I just kept them separate that way, and the stuff on the right is gonna be my tester/taster stuff pre-cure.

This is Dense, sticky with lots of glove hash, and easy to "trim" since i just plucked three leaves off each nug. The smell is chemical/gas and really pungent, then there's lilac Fucking weird. Like the scented bubble-bath. You have to stay in there and take a deep breath, because every time you go back in it's the gas first. Haven't ground anything up yet... This should be fun

Oh, I found a short pack of fem seeds as well. Since I was plucking every little leaf off each nug I was thinking maybe it didn't get hit with the Bad Attitude. But after I cut the stems out there was a lone seed on the tray. I kept plucking leaves and plucking leaves and nothing. Then the very last nug I picked up rained out 6 beans. Perfectly ripe and beautiful.

I have a little paper envelope for each strain that was in the BA premature ejaculation. I have the BA crossed to both Savage Headband, Polecat '91, Headlites, Puna Lites, MK Ultra, Northern Lights and the CBG plant.The NL and the CBG both got decimated and decarbed, with 12 seeds in one and 10 in the other. Nothing has been fully seeded, even the BA that caused the issue. As a matter of fact, I have no beans from either BA yet. It's looking like 12 will be the most from any plant.

I just have the envelopes open so the seeds get really dry, the house is cool eough. Once everything is cured I'll stick them in the fridge and add seeds if I find more. But it's looking like me playing with all the lower stuff early is finding most of them.

Update. I went through about an 8th-ish of the larf and am up to 11 beans. based on percentages I should end up with about 20? Of note, all popped out easy when breaking the buds up and none made it to the grinder. And I was not squishing and squeezing. just plucking stuff off stems.

Overall I am not unhappy with the little fem presents. I am getting enough from each plant to do a halfway decent hunt for anything good, and since they are all fems all I have to worry about is herms, no sexing them, unless technically that is the same thing but it happens around day 21 instead of day 7

Nothing had enough seeds to make the smoke unpleasant so that's a win. After the chuck I should have lots of homemade packs of good seeds though, so I need to make sure these fuck-ups age well.

Oh - and it got me really high good thing it's Sunday morning. I may go ahead and do a hash snake joint of this now instead of waiting. I have enough for two.

Grow note before I forget. To save having to drop as many regs for the chuck, I need to take flower clones of anything I currently have flowering. Instead of dropping beans this month I can get those re-vegging - or at least rooting before I drop beans. See if any don't take and I need to drop more.

That means I get to make some decisions today. I have the mini tent empty and waiting on a dome.

I think if any of the Irie 5 are girls I'll lean towards taking a clone to re-veg for smoke and just let the plants get seeded. They were all the danker side of what I got. I still have some of his assorted fruit crosses (Strawberry Starburst, Sunkiss, and Pineapple Wine that were matched up with the John Lemon I actually bought. The Machine, The Cream, the JTR F2's from subcool, all have gas or dank - and I bought them Everything else just showed up . Not sure what category Dragon Punch goes into though...

But he has all tested genetics, and I'm sure plenty that don't make the cut. He has a short video describing most strains, including everything about the mom and dad, why he chose them, what he wanted from the crosses - and what he got. Any phenos he and his testers popped, different growing mediums and styles they used, just a LOT of info. So I'll make some decisions after watching any of those that apply.

The Thunderhole is a Skunk/Hashplant. I am thinking that I should have some that are also skunk and or hashplant, then some that are wildly different like fruit, berry, haze etc. The Stones going now fit that bill, and I am planning on cloning and re-cloning them. Now I need to up-pot them and get clonable stuff faster...
