Right on . I had some copper Chem that did it just on the top cola. But I wanted a little more amber so I plucked em and let em go for a bit longer. I had other stuff in early flower and didn’t want to seed them. Figured they wouldn’t open but I wasn’t willing to risk it.
I thought about snipping the top cola, but yaneverknow... you miss seeing one and the rest of the plants go another few weeks, and you have little baby-seed white pips all in the grinder. Better safe than pollen chucking.

Right now I am thoroughly enjoying being a weed snob. If I get one that's fire I had a successful grow. Expecting every plant to be a "keeper" is silly. going by smell and bud structure I think I'll have more than one of each. Even the leafy tops are getting some beef under there.

This #3 was 200g and change wet. It has a little funk to it. Almost an insect repellant smell. Citronella and Deep Woods Off. Weird LOL

The Road Dogs (two shorties front right) both showed me pistils so this lineup is set. The Two-top under the fan is Irie's The Cream that was a mutant comeback. The un-level 4-top back center is the Velvet Heat freebie from Exotic. The shrub in the corner is the Space Queen from Dominion. In front of that is the Grandpa's Stash from Ethos, And the center square for the win is his Member Berry. These got a top dressing with lots of worm castings last, and this time everything got a sprout tea. Alfalfa and barley for the veg plants with kelp added, Barley and corn for the flowers. That was last night and they were droopy-ish. They approve.

The closet has 3 fems and a reg with 2 project plants. I'm cloning the CLHP and will eventually do a bulk run and let one catch pollen whenever I get to that. I want to see if it is as good as the last one. If they are similar I'll just drop another bean whenever I get to chucking instead of keeping a clone around.
The Sky Cuddler is a $$$ bean from Mean Gene and I'm hanging on to it male or female. If it's a girl and I like the smoke it is going to get a bulk run (no more beans) and I may keep a mother around - but I don't buy hype. I think his is earned but I don't know if what he likes to smoke is what I like to smoke.
IMG_9048.JPG
The mini tent with 2 HLG65's is rocking the veg - I can run more regs now with the closet and this. I will be snipping lower stuff and seeing about topping stuff in both spots tonight.

I quit taking pics because they all look the same. Harvested the one plant in the morning, then 4 right after lights-on.

The milky look is what I am going for, regardless of amber count. I think that the ambers starting lets you know she's near the end, but it's that powdered-sugar look that says "I'm done". Cool thing on both of these crosses with the CLD is that the ambers are pink/purple.

Here's the three remaining County Line Diesel backcrosses (unsure about the nomenclature) and I added the Member Berry because it was the right size for the shelf.

The rest of that drop stretching like mad
IMG_9118.JPG
And the newbs - the Sky Cuddler looks like it should be the Struggle Bus Kush. Everything else is rocking.

I decided to focus on my next project. I see a chuck happening 2-3 runs from now. Next drop I'll be taking clones from everything then checking out the males alongside the Rock Island Rocket I saved. I wasn't planning on taking clones from these that are in flower, but I was at the point of snipping away lower stuff anyway...
IMG_9124.JPG
Since these are flower clones I'll need to get them vegged and take one clone from each strain to keep once they get normal.
The mutant The Cream is flourishing and I had to thin down the lower stems which is what started all this. First time I've seen this. Both are clones now. Interesting, but not something to grow out or both end up larf.

47 days since being cut of her mom(H3) and my Harelt flower cut looks to be throwing 3 and 5's. I think I am just going to let her grow another couple of weeks until My Harlets & Hashplants finish in my 3 X 3 then just clean her up nice and then throw her to flower with my 2 GMO X Funeral cake regs. If either one of them turn out to be a male I think I am just going to let them bust a load on Harlet cuz they sure grow nice and short which would really be nice.

The next two drops are pretty much set. The BHP got bumped since I am wanting to get the pollen chuck done. The Ethos freebie (Big D Energy) I am smoking now is delicious, so I have to investigate another freebie from him called Cotton Candy Cookies. Crazy Hazy is because I haven't had a haze that I can think of. Aside from those two, it is all funk. Supposedly skunky stuff this round, Chem stuff next round, chucking with a selection of those clones and maybe the odd fem dropped just to catch pollen.

The 007up is Lemon Tree x The White OG, and if I get a male(s) in those three that's the breeder and an F1 if I get a girl. The Lemon Tree (maybe a few) from @Heisenbeans will be a pollen-catcher if I get a 007up male since it'll be like a backcross.

The Momma Moonshine has a beautiful berries and armpit funk and a great high, so that is breeder and hopeful F1 number two. I'll keep a girl of all of these and if they all catch a little pollen it's just for me to hunt later, maybe gift out if there's success.

I don't think I am cloning any fems besides the CLHP - which is for headstash and catching pollen - and more headstash. The rest I can drop a bean of for making seeds. If this pheno of CLHP is wildly different from the first I may drop a few beans for the chuck to make sure I get a homerun.
IMG_9142.JPG
Clones from all of these were just because. I had the Grandpa's stash already to test the aloe chunk cloning. Then the Space Queen because it was such a grower - and it has also settled down and is not stretching mad. The Road Dog was a "keep the male or female" Chem mix-up from SkunkVA at Luckydog, so girl one and two got cloned as soon as it they showed to hopefully limit the reveg bullshit. The rest were just part of the assembly line. Get the clone-fingers warmed up.

I didn't bother taking a Member Berry clone. I don't think berries is going to cross well with whatever dad I choose.

That seems about right. I think a month was about my record, but I didn't keep good enough notes to remember when in flower it was taken.
If it's not a stretchy plant I have just flipped it like that. LST the upper ones down to the level of the others and let it go. Monster flowering and waiting too long is not beneficial. But you could also take your clones now, or some of them, depending on what your goal is.

Thinking more about the goal of my chuck - a wide variety of strong stinky weed - and because it's just for me...

Multiple males. Any of the skunks that don't smell like flowers and citrus can play which is why they go first so I can smoke them. But also any chemmy regs can play. Big fat orgy with a lot of 1g males and females. Fuck it.

I want to isolate an F1 in a separate tent if I get a M/F combo from the 007up.

Everything else I'll have most of a pack left to play with.

I want practice a chuck before the economy goes completely sideways. I have enough beans to grow for the rest of my life, plus what @J.James sends me occasionally, but this whole thing is about self-sustainability. I want to get comfortable with it just in case. I may see that chucking a batch is not all that big of a deal if you really have no goal.

I have a good stock of the build-a-soil stuff I'll need (bulk is wonderful) and after this summer I should have a lot of those growing needs that are homegrown. Cover crop seeds can be whatever I produce locally. Planting a little barley, corn, alfalfa and some other stuff just to make sprout teas with or to specifically feed worms for the flower or veg specific castings.

Here's what I "fed" the plants instead of plain RO tonight. I snipped a few aloe leaf tips, a handful of leaves I pruned off the plants, and a comfrey leaf all put in a blender and pulverized. I strained it through a coarse strainer to keep any particles small enough to fit through the watering can. Those little bits hanging on the surface after the water soaks in are worm treats. I checked the ppm out of curiosity and it was in the 30's LOL

Since I haven't used the ground up weed leaves and comfrey before I went back to check on them. They were not droopy in the first pic because they were dry. They have gotten 1000ml (5% volume) a day for the last two, and today makes three. Drinking like fishes except for The Cream which was a later re-pot.

Hmmm... I think I'm going to let her new sets of fans fully deploy and then take some really nice cuts off her tops(even a bit lower than your red lines) to hopefully to try and make her not tower over the 2 GMO X FC plants.

Stoner thoughts.... I wonder if chucking pollen on a flower cut clone would reek havoc on what expressions show up in the seeds she would produce. Something tells me that might not be exactly an ideal chuck and I should probably just throw 1 or 2 of these about to new cuts in there instead.

Always clean and healthy, you running organics and only water?

I never add a lot of anything, except castings. Since I am reusing the soil I am treating them like worm bins. I top dress with something every week or two, sprout teas the next week or so with other stuff mixed in (kelp and such), aloe, coconut water powder, malted barley, always something chunky for the worms to nibble on :ROFLMAO:

But in between I just use plain RO. Water-only was never the goal though.

I had to get the clones labeled individually so I could jam them together and make room. I am only keeping one plant each, so first one to root well wins. Other than the 2 Grandpa's Stash (one popped a root out already) there are 3-4 each and they're all flower clones. The GS were just barely in flower though, the rest were enough in so they'll reveg (or not). Looks like the GS will just charge on, nothing weird happening.
IMG_9149.JPG
I had to bring in plants for the last time before they hit dirt. There's a several week window after tonight for them to get rooted, and they've been hardening off outside in high 30-degree nights just fine. I have way more than I can fit in the garden, but instead of composting them or trying to give them away I am going to find random spots around the property to just let them grow wild - or not. If they make fruit that's not people-worthy or just excess the worms will love them.
