I really got into cloning couple years back I liked keeping moms by cloning them when they got to large but my seed collection got bigger and bigger I wanted more variety I think we are all searching for the strain that checks all the boxes..

For me that CLHP checks all the ones I can think of. At least the last one did. If this one isn't the same or as killer I'll move on and get back to it later, knowing it's a hunt for a known plant.

@Nobighurry here's something anecdotal from today. Wake-n-bake with some UK Cheese (Humbolt CSI freebie) and it just didn't do it for me. Tasted great smells great, but a weak buzz. I guess they like that in the UK?

Anyway, a bowl of the CLHP put everything right. It's an all-round feel-good buzz. About 50/50 mind-stone and body-stone. And there's a good chance that a one-hitter will give you that shivery/tingly rush. Like a kief hit.

This is the landing spot for clones once they get rooted. Since it's gardening season I don't need any of these indoor veggies, it was just curiosity to see if it would work.

No flowers on the dwarf tomatoes, but the peppers are getting there

This is the Rock Island Rocket male experiment. Never made a full flower after showing preflowers. Never did re-veg and loving living like a weed in the window. Between this and the Grandpas Stash clones, I think catching it right as is shows might skip the reveg. I'm sure it's a stressor, but I don't think herm-ing is an issue with keeping a male. As long as it doesn't put out flowers in veg.
I think I am wanting something stinky for the dad(s) so I need info from @J.James on how the RIR smokes and smells. This was just the frst male I found after deciding, and it's a beautiful plant. Just don't know if it would be great with chems and skunks.

If I end up with anything from the 007up that would mix well. I went ahead and dropped them this time since that was a major part of plan A. If they are all three duds I can move to plan B

Wish the damn CLHP was male - what you got for that you can send me?

Finding the perfect wake and bake has been my toughest quest I had some Tangie awhile back I really liked there was a candyland and some orange blossom special that was great with morning caffeine perhaps I need to check out CLHP!

Done with the contest plants at 9 weeks. Had to check to make sure I had a decent pic before chopping and hanging. Everything is rearranged and I have wet beans ready for dirt tonight or first thing in the morning.

The new beans are down. Going to start checking clones for roots in a bit.

These are close to flip for 5. The CLHP is gonna get bigger and topped and such before going and the Sky Cuddler just ain't ready.
I want to clone the three AK Bean Brains regs but nothing is stretching. This is where I test the flower-clone theory about taking them in 12/12 but before they show. All these look stocky and short so no topping.
And these got split for now into taller and shorter, but they'll all fit in one tent if needed

Hot Wet Kushy & Dosidos are almost worked into the their scrog. I don't think I have ever worked with an easier plant then Hot Wet Kushy that bitch is seriously flexible as I bent and weaved one of her tall ass colas all over the scrog and I don't think it cracked even once.

Flipped 5. I topped the Mountaintop Mint because it has nice shoots. 6 for now but she may lose two. The plastic pots are regs.


Sill in veg. The CLHP will get topped as soon as there are some other clone-size shoots to take.

14 days and the Grandpa's Stash clones were rooted enough to stick in dirt. These were cleaned up like for a rooting cube, but stuck in an aloe chunk overnight to soak first. No other treatments. The Space Queen were aloe-only too, but the rest got the regular clonex gel and rooting hormones to use it up. They were looking hungry so they got a little cup of fresh castings and compost. First one to fill the cup with roots wins.

48 hours: One of the fems

I turned the cards for the ones with at least a curl poking up. 5 out of 11 this quick ain't bad. One more drop like this before I chuck, and I'll be playing with clones and moms and dads. It will be chemmy stuff again including a fem Chemdog and ChemD to up the headstash and get clones from to catch pollen.

Three regs that I need some stretch from to get good clones. I won't top them since they are already flipped.

And the veg closet. Not that impressed with the Sky Struggler - but some of the best smoke I have had came from runty mutants,

So the goal was to get a male and female 007up to breed. I dropped them now instead of waiting until closer to chucking because the rest of the pack gave me one male and one female with lots of duds. The only three that haven't popped...

The Romulan x C99 aka Space Queen got the early axe. Male flowers on the lowers, but since it was a shrub I snipped the lowers. Then more, checking each round like snipping clones but just checking to see if it was clean towards the top. Gonna be fantastic worm food food-processed, dried and added to the bedding. The clones were just knobbing up and poking out the beginnings of roots so plain aloe is good to go.

The Williams Wonder is already a girl and I got a few clones from the bottom. Since I'm keeping males and evaluating females for catching pollen I am not topping regs. Short and tall will be a data point.

And I'm gonna let karma decide at least one male I use. I want to do an F1 of something I like to smoke. It may be one of these if I like the smoke, and if i get a male female combo, and if they both clone well, etc. Four sets of male/female would be great. Everything can hang out as a pollen catcher, but that F1 is what I'm going for. Next drop I'll have 4 or more Momma Moonshine going down as the possible donor.

I have one clone in with the seedlings now to harden off, and one is getting some sunshine but 40% rH until I figure out where to land it tonight - or if it starts to look like shit. The RIR dad is now worm food. I chop out the tap-root then work in a little bokashi, then cover it as a worm haven to get those bastards busy. The dish-racks are to keep the cat from using it as a litter box . I just need one to survive as a pollen option for later.

I have a tub of stuff a month longer from harvest that is ready for any Thunderhole girls to get up-potted to. When these seedlings are ready for one-gallons there will be enough left in the tub (that the worms are still working) for that, but not much else. Then I'll start messing with the stuff in the pots.

My harvest with the assortment of breeders just hit two months and I may have to add the Prana from Irie, or maybe The Cream if it smokes similar, to the chuck. He says he breeds for 'nervous' weed. Stuff that puts you on the edge of your seat, get-r-dun weed.

The smoke lives up to that, but in a good way. Sitting here typing about it won't last long - gotta go!

Quick note - that was the first re-run of the living soil and every cultivar is nose-popping in one way or another. Big hopes for the contest plants with all the colors. Living soil might be what is needed to get the purple stuff to fuck you up good
