Here is Dubstep2, the keeper one in the 3x3. It’s gotten a little hotter than I’d like in there, it’s only supposed to be vegging 100W right now but had to keep these babies so have about 300W in there right now. Pardon the burnt leaves. Day 43 from flip.

Ya I guess I should. Can go down to 200W.

That's the first thing I go for if the temps get high is the dimmer. Fixes it in no time, then you can investigate what might be causing it.

If I have to do that I am cleaning the intake filters on the exhaust, the vents going into the tent, making sure the oscillating fan is working - stuff like that.

Well it just isn’t set up to run that much power anymore, it’s supposed to be the veg tent haha! Once a couple Eso’s finish I will get it cleaned out and back down to 100W.

I shall drop it to 200W though in the meantime. Thanks

Out of curiosity, what is your lights on temp?

About 28 Celsius in my big tent and 31 in the Dubstep tent there. My other spot stays below 27 pretty much

So 31°c that's a bit over 87° in freedom units. And you're running LEDs? If so, that's a little bit high, but honestly not terrible. I target anywhere between 82-86, on the lower end during flower if I can manage it, and I'm pretty happy with how everything works out. I've found the distance to the light has more ill effect than ambient temperature does, closer to the light I start seeing taco leaves and foxtails, etc.

Well, all that aside, I'm sure you'll be fine. The damage isn't all that bad anyway.

Thanks a lot actually they did get very close and was likely the main factor Like 3-5” away from 1400ma cobs, oops. It’s dimmed and up to about 9-10" now,

That's my main gripe with cobs and boards, so much intensity in one small area. Making the jump to strips is the best choice I've made in regards to lighting.

On the whole though, I'd say everything is looking pretty good, so keep that up.

Thanks a lot my man! Appreciate it! These cobs were my first jump into the game about 4-5 years ago. They have served me extremely well for sure I just jumped into my first boards and that is going well too, I like the spread on them over the cobs for sure! The heat is higher on the boards but I do have actively cooled cobs.. Advantages and disadvantages I guess hehe

Can you run a small fan over the drivers? Or....are the driver wires long enough to go outside and on top the tent?

I think it should be respectable after the changes but I could move the biggest driver outside the tent too if needed. Good call thanks!!

Yea sometimes the heat from the driver is welcomed. Either way....you got it down because those girls are looking awesome. Great job!!!
