Ya i get why u dont want that hlg-320-2100 driver for 90-100 bucks a peice. I was referring bout another meanwell made driver the LRS-350-36. But it requires to b wired in parrellel. Your driver is a constant current, my driver i listed is a constant voltage. Both serve same purpose but wired differently. Parrellel was easyr for me. But lrs version has nuilt in fan and the driver itself dont get hot. But for me it was key to get max output outta board's at 75w each. The qb 132's are built to take running them wide open. Hell in mid flower i had at 80w each no problem. Ya in long run it might shorten the life on em but instead of 5yrs u still wood get say 4yrs with em. Thats how i lookd at it. By then itll b time to upgrade..

Another reason i chose lrs-350-36 besides being able to run boards wide open , is that i paid 35 bucks each for the 2 i bought. Right now they are 40 bucks each. U can get 2 lrs -350-36 drivers for around80 bucks. A hlg320-36 / 320-2100 is 80-90 bucks each.

Hlg320-2100 or 320-36 = 94% efficiency
Lrs-350-36=89% efficiency thats the only thing its better than lrs model. Both can b mounted anywhere. Both are meanwell made.
Just info i wanna share to u or anyone else thinkn of buying a set of qb132's. I am not familiar with any other leds as of now, but Any thing to do with hlg's qb132's im very good with. I got pics of the multiple fixtures i built just for the qb132's, wiring pics, and my bushes i grew using them. Wished i could of smoked sum the plants i grew but diff story.. Lol

The only good thing to come after losing my boards, is i was lucky enuff to get chosen to b a tester for the new xb400 rgb quantums from a company called HGL(hydro grow led).

The tests online showed their lights performed better than hlg quantums. Hell id proud just to match hlg's lights but u can see their lights are pretty good. The world record autoflower was grown using a older technology light from HGL. IM just glad theyre giving me the biggest light they make and i just gotta grow sum under it.. I was like hell ya .. Deal! But just sharing sum of my info with u buddy. I enjoy chatting and lookn at ur pics and everyone elses too. Thx👍✌

The lrs models are tempting but not meant for in the tent use , high humidity. And a little more fragile I would assume. But good info no less!

All tho i dont no never grew in tent but id say as long as u had venting system u can run em in a tent. Humidity wasnt a issue for them cause in veg i had 60-70% humidity with lights off didnt hurt em. They are a bigger bulkyier driver compared to hlg types. They got a dimmer with screw to adj the voltage.
I just hung a multimeter next to drivers with aligator clips to drivers so when i dimmed or cranked up i could see how many volts each board was getting.
Height in veg was no certain height i just let plants grow to certain height and certain width. But prolly was close to 18 -20 inches from canopy.

Flower strain depending, each can handle intensity differently but once they stretched they was right at 10-12 inches on top colas. A couple taller buds was like 4-5 inches away just loving it. But a good startn point in flower id say 12-14in.
I need to learn to post pics but i will when i got more time..

Ya they lookn good dude. The wiring on your fixture looks nice and clean and looks nicely done. But don't u think your kinda living on the edge their with your driver setting on table next to your plants? Not hating just i no with my luck id accidentally miss the pot when watering plants & pour water on driver causing a short frying lights and power source.lol that b my luck.. Lol

I was an electrician for 10 years. I get by with just the leftover wire, straps, connectors.
I am doing this veg time in my garage until growbro is ready for the tent to go back up.
The driver is normally outside the room/tent thats why its just sitting there.
The tupperware underneath is to let it get some airflow. Thats the hottest part of my light.

Those rigs are rough bro. 100 bucks tho.. meh can’t really go wrong. I can send you a link to something Better in that price range after I sleep a bit lol. We takin American dollahz? I guarantee the cmh would buttblast that led rig for sure. I feel we can get ya 200 watts full spec 3k-35k at least with that money. I find I don’t like any more juice than that out of a fixture that doesn’t cover that much. (Like 16 inch x 8 or whatever) too much light in one spot. Better off with a couple lower watt units spread out imo

yeah I ended up putting the 315w cmh in the tent its not hot in there
and the plants like it better and that light would not hold up in a tent with the humidity
it covers the whole tent like a boss going to put in a 4inch inline fan for exhaust
and one on the bottom that led was bright just don't trust it and I will need the extra heat soon
from the cmh this winter I will be taking the light I bought apart and see what it has for
for components it is a bright light though thanks for the reply
I will tinker once I have the extra time I took electronics years ago in tech school (y)

I dont have a real good test yet. I got a 20 g head bud on my last Jack herer , bruce banger round 12 12 from seed under my qb132 4 3500k and 4 4000k . 2 240w1750ma drivers. So aroind 500 watts in a 4 x 4. Coco soil mix with gh nutes.
Im still gonna run a few of the soil coco mix because they are already started but in transitioning to hydro fully I believe

Ya My 1000w hps even @ 50% is real hot.
I may use it this fall and winter though. Heater/light.
The old lights work for cold asses like @Uncle Romulus
