I think he'd be better off with what he has now, the corn cob shaped LEDs point in all directions, these led bulbs all point straight down directly onto the plants.

Yeah, I'm going to leave my light as they are and try and dial in some other things first. I've been fussing with too many things all at once.

Does anyone know how to get the diffusers off the bulbs without destroying them.

Hammer. Breaks the plastic but not the leds. The covers diffuse light really well if you’re going that route.

I don’t know that I’d flower with it though. You could attch a bunch of super high powered bulbs from somewhere like ledexpert. You could probably stick e39 base converters and get 50-200 watts per bulb depending on what kind of circuit/power you’ve got available
