Nope. Not alot of good youtube vids. But I found a couple. Mine dont require heatsinks so save time, moneyAre they hard to wire up? I'm pretty new to led lights and am looking to get another one.

If you have a dimmable driver why not just wire up a pot? But ya, you can cap the leads and run it full open, and likely get a few more watts than what it is stated to produce.Do u know or? I dont wanna get my new boards coming. I have the potentiometers coming just in case. But i dint see why not run it wide open. Yeehawww
I was jw. Its only 240w over a 4x4 anyway, why not right? If you have a dimmable driver why not just wire up a pot? But ya, you can cap the leads and run it full open, and likely get a few more watts than what it is stated to produce.
Ya, 240W over a 4x4 -your gonna want every watt you can get. Certainly if just raising the light is an option vs dimming.I was jw. Its only 240w over a 4x4 anyway, why not right?
Wow! It was more difficult thab i anticipated with the memory of the wire, the lil pot, and my sausage fingers. Phew. I may not wanna post thia pic. She works though!Me me me me, I am. Lol.View attachment 3964
CHeap eBay potSounds a little low. Need 100K to get full output.
I used a fluke. Multimeter. In the research I've done due to a pots potential manufacturing differences a 100k pot may not really be a 100k in true test. Test it with a multimeter and see.
Ive been taught to go with a 110k pot to accommodate those inaccuracies. Gromau goes over the how and why, very well in one of his tutorial vids.
Fuck me!! Out of curiosity I tested the other one. 130 wide open. That's my luck for testing after!!In the research I've done due to a pots potential manufacturing differences a 100k pot may not really be a 100k in true test. Test it with a multimeter and see.
